El Rodeo Authentic Mexican Restaurant is a surprise find with an unassuming interior and exterior, serving absolutely delicious and lovingly prepared homemade style Mexican food. The freshness of the ingredients and unique flavors are unforgettable, with highly recommended dishes including mole chicken, quesabirilla, carnitas, a burrito - chile de relleno, all meat tacos, and shrimp tacos. The meat is seasoned very well and the shrimp tacos are some of the best. The red and green sauces seem homemade; the green sauce has a great medium spice while the red sauce is mild with a yummy chipotle flavor. The salsa is epic and the tortillas are the best.
The service is fast and the server and staff are kind and have a nice vibe, though some note the service could be improved, with occasional slow seating and a lack of engagement. The cost is on the high side. A television preaching in the dining room can be very loud. Despite this, the food is excellent and highly recommended for food enthusiasts, with many looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu.
