3 ⭐️ for lake and mountain views that make dry burgers slightly better!

Was not real crazy about how you go to the register to order and then stand in line fir your number to be called but it was ok. The view from the dining area is spectacular. I had the Bison brat with chili and cheese and it was good. My wife had the hamburger and it was pretty dry. Would go back mainly for the atmosphere.

They literally cook the food before and just reheat it days later. We ate there 3 times. Not many options inside the park. It was terrible food. My first time there, i received my order about 45 seconds after ordering. No way they cooked a hamburger and onion rings that quick. The other 2 times were just as bad. The prices are outrageous as well. Wasn't just me. Several people there complained. Do yourself a favor and don't eat here.

The food is SO bad. I love burgers and this one was inedible. Dry and burnt tasting. The fries were so salty we could barely eat them. The menu is insanely limited and repeats ad nauseum same lunch and dinner.

Great onion rings. Sadly, no bison burgers or falafel as advertised. Good salad-- fresh and large. No vegan salad dressing. Only vinegar and oil and another diner monopolized it---grrrr.

After having a very poor meal at Geyser Grill, this place was for sure not as bad. First of all, they didnt run out of food, so that was nice. They also stayed open later, so people arent rushing to grab food. You order at the counter and find a seat. I ended up ordering the bison burger (wylie style), chicken burger, beef chili, fries, and a bison bratwurst, Its not overly pricey but we ended up spending around $40 for everything. The brison burger was actually pretty good. It tasted different than a beef burger. The chicken burger was a frozen processed patty, but tasted okay. The chili was flavorful and a bit spicy. The fries were good too. One huge gripe is that they got our order wrong and gave us a regular hotdog isntead of a bison bratwurst. Big disappointment. They also ran out of huckleberry milkshakes. Overall not bad, especially if you bring it outside and watch the sunset.

We wanted breakfast. We knew it was end of season and the menu showed they were out of a few things. It was fairly empty when we arrived a little after 8am. I got oatmeal with blueberries (not on the menu but offered verbally by the cashier). My husband got a sausage, egg, cheese on English muffin with a side of bacon and a side of hash browns. The side of bacon came in a paper envelope you'd expect to see fries in... It was awesome. Then he added the hash brown patty and half the bacon to the sandwich...it too was awesome. The staff was all very friendly. The food was about what we expected for end of the season fare. The dining area has a lovely large window that looks out over the lake. We sat and enjoyed ourselves as 3 other groups of people came and went. I would recommend it as it is a slightly out of the way dining establishment within Yellowstone.

It's the online place to eat and the couldn't do hot dogs right. One was black on on side and COLD the other was ok but only warm. People in front of us had to leave after placing order because they don't take CASH! A National Park Restaurant and they won't take CASH.

visited today for lunch (9/26). it closes for the season in 5 days. so half the menu was marked through as not available. seriously? food choice was burgers or hot dogs. my sons hot dog was burnt so he wouldn't eat it. the fries were dredged in salt. the bison bratwurst buns were dry and stale. the condiment dispensers were ALL labeled 'out of order'...I assumed they had been cleaned for the season. same with the milkshake machine. the onion rings were good and the prices were reasonable. nice view of the lake. but, if you are open until Oct 1 you should be serving a full menu. I would expect more from a major park. the irony was they were photo shooting an advertisement in the restaurant while we were there. I am now concerned about the dinner reservations I have the next 2 nights in other restaurants.

Too expensive for what you get. I got the bison burger and I was sick that night, which only lasted a few hours. I wouldn’t go here. Bring your own food into the park.

English muffins with meat, egg, and cheese. Wasn't terrible, but the muffin wasn't toasted. Nice veiw of the lake.

Had our bill been under $50 to feed my family (with four kids) this would have been a five-star review. However, given that it was $75, it's only four - too pricey! That said, the burgers were good, as were the fries. The atmosphere was that of a cafeteria - slightly chaotic, put in your order and pick up you food when your number is called. Self-service drinks meant that the kids got their fill of orange soda and Sprite. As we were in Yellowstone late that day, the key was that they were open later than most other restaurants and relatively close to where we were touring. The lodge itself is magnificent and the sunset view from the front porch was amazing!

Don't recommend this restaurant at Lake Lodge. Tried it twice. At lunch they were out of entrees, no milk shakes, and the hot dog buns fell apart easily. Tried dinner. More items available but took forever and got fries instead of rings. No one cleaning tables either. Seems to be understagfed

Very limited menu and a little overpriced. It is a counter service restaurant if you want sit down dining with service look elsewhere. The food is basic fare burgers, fries etc it's not bad just average. Given the limited choices to eat in the area it could be worse ?

Near the Lake Yellowstone hotel and the Sandpiper lodge. They had food order stands that you enter your selections. Then go to a cashier and pay. Then order comes out in a few minutes. Seems like a family friendly place to eat.
