Dining room is nice. Breakfast is ok. Given that it is in the middle of a national park, all in all decent.
Nice view, lots of choices but they're pretty pricey. Service was quick. Wifi was very spotty.
You order your food and someone calls your name and you go to the counter to get it. Limited choices. For $52 we got two cold, tasteless burgers, one cold tasteless tater tots and two small cans of flavored soda water. We returned the burgers and got two lukewarm tasteless burgers. Dining area is nice with a view of Yellowstone Lake.

Wylie's Canteen at Lake Lodge provides a unique dining experience with a spectacular view from the dining area. Customers have enjoyed breakfast items like biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches, and glazed donuts, all while taking in amazing views of the lake. The soda fountain and milk shakes are decent, providing good options for drinks.
Guests appreciate the convenience of ordering at the kiosk and paying with a credit card, with food ready quickly. While the service process can be a bit janky, staff do check in at tables after ordering and bus the tables, which adds a nice touch. The interior has an old-school, classic national park feel, though it could use a good scrub. Parking is available outside the Lodge, though it can be crowded at times. Overall, despite some minor issues with organization and service, Wylie's Canteen remains a decent option for a meal at Lake Lodge, especially for those wanting a good view and a casual atmosphere. Prices are pretty high, as expected in Yellowstone, but the quality and setting make it worthwhile. Notably, there are no reservations required, making it an accessible choice for diners.
