The place is a hidden gem on the road‑trip to Alaska. It is cute, very clean and has a welcoming vibe. The food is great and the experience feels like an unexpected road‑trip win. Gluten‑free pancakes and waffles are absolutely delicious, and the omelette is the best, even since a trip to France. The matcha is the best of the entire trip and home-made quiches to go. Breakfast is cooked perfectly, served with a warm inviting atmosphere and attentive staff. A mocha tops off an amazing breakfast and a mushroom/Swiss burger is surprisingly large, truly scrumptious, and served with a generous portion of hand cut fries. The owner is incredibly kind and the staff is attentive. The shaded deck is nice for summer and the hours are posted differently in different spots. It is not fast food, so a little wait is well worth it. It is a must stop if you are passing through Haines Junction or traveling across Canada, Alaska or Yukon.
