Great place to stay with new renovated cabins, the food was amazing and got to us so fast!!
I think this place might be under new ownership, lovely young family running the coffee shop /bakery/resto (maybe the campground as well?). The dude running the till was short staffed but managed just fine. Great espresso, this is the only espresso machine I've seen north of Smithers. Fueled up on breakfast sandwich, cookies, coffee, random snacks and a beer for the road (I'm cycling calm down). Worth the stop.
Not many options for GF. I was told that they had GF spaghetti, but it would need to be cooked. I then asked for plain french fries, but apparently they don't do these in evening. ???? I settled for a glass of white wine. I will eat my own food at trailer. My husband had the Salisbury Steak with mashed potatoes veggies and gravy. Not good. the hamburger patty was chewy and flavourless. The veggies were frozen peas and carrots. And the potatoes were definitely not real...read full review
