“Had a wonderful experience here today. We got all sorts of sushi rolls, mango, unagi, mt benson, etc. My friend had a bunch of sashimi and loved it. The rolls were a mixture of small and tight and larger. The servers were fantastic. Honestly, can’t say enough to emphasize how awesome this place is.“

“Best sushi I’ve ever had. The fish was very fresh. Served beautifully! I have tried every place and this is by far the best. One time I visited the owner greeted me. I told him how much I enjoyed the rice green tea they serve here, he told me it’s a special blend he gets from his home town and he even sent me home with a small amount so that I could enjoy it at home as well! Absolutely delicious! Thank you again.“

“This is one of those don’t judge a book by its cover. This unassuming restaurant serves sushi with freshness not seen at many restaurants. The presentation was spotless and the taste was luxurious even though it is not an upscale sushi restaurant. I highly recommend coming here for your sushi fix. I work in the area and I will be a repeat customer.Parking: Shared parking with parking complex.“

“I was so stocked to find a real Japanese restaurant operated by Japanese staff in Nanaimo. They are tucked away in the alley behind La Stella which is also my favourite. They offer authentic Japanese food with excellent customer service. I had nabeyaki udon and it was perfect for the day you want to be cozy and very flavourful. They close bit earlier than other restaurants so check their business hour first before you go. They also have some bar seats if you dine in solo!“

“Seto Sushi is a great modest little spot in our neighbourhood. I'm always satisfied with the quality, speed and price of what I order! The fancy rolls are my favourite, but the maki, temaki, nigiri and sashimi are always fresh and filling too. Nice big delicious portions of tuna or salmon always impress! The staff are friendly and courteous no matter how busy they might be too! I definitely recommend Seto Sushi. You might get raw food, but you won't get a raw deal here!Parking: Seto Sushi is located in a shared plaza with other businesses, so there is ample parking available near the door and in the lot.“

“On the island for the weekend and wanted to try this place out for lunch. It's a bit unfair for them since we have alot of good Japanese restaurants back in vancouver. I had the bento box (it literally came out in a box), the food was warm and not hot, especially the ball of rice (this was Luke warm and the exterior was a bit dry). However my friends had the Ramen and they said it was good ?. Place was a bit small, but luckily it wasn't too busy so they were able to seat 7 if us. Price wasn't too expensive so I wouldn't mind coming back in the future if I visited Nanaimo again.Parking: Free 2hr street parking. Wasn't too busy on a Saturday lunch time. Took us few minutes to wait for a spot.“
