“I stopped by to try the place out, and it was a total success. I ordered a Tuna Salad Sandwich and Soup Combo; it was completely amazing, the Sandwich was a generous size as was the soup, and the owner's treatment was even better. “Ordered take out here for the first time. Easy to order over the phone. Pick-up was exactly what time they estimated. There was parking in the back where the entrance is accessible on the side of the building. Restaurant was full at 7:30. Patrons were very diverse. It's not fine dining inside but it looked very clean including the glance I had into the back. I ordered sweet and sour pork and beef fried rice noodle. The portion size was good (decently filled to fit the container). I frequently order these dishes at other restaurants and can say they were nicely done. I'd say the value is on par to other similar establishment if not slightly less expensive. The discount for pick-up was also nice. I think this might be my new go-to rather than trekking it to Fraser Street.“

“This place has the feeling of a small family run restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and fast. Our family of 6 was served and fed in under 30 minutes . We did their family special dinner for 5 .The food was brought out immediately from the kitchen as soon as it was ready. “For years relied on an upscale dim sum place with a location in Richmond and one on Main St., but had an unpleasant experience post pandemic. Have tried a couple of other places with mixed results and ended up here on Sunday. It did not disappoint - authentic, reasonably priced and delicious with some of the best service ever for a dim sum place. Sizeable menu, some items only after 11 am, large portions. Most the "usual" suspects on offer with a couple of fun twists per below. The individual portions of siu mai, hat gow etc were larger than most places and in addition, there was often one or two more pieces than one would normally have in an order. Xo sauce chunky but on point and reasonable cost, no charge for tea. Free parking out back if driving. One day I will figure out how to order Worcestershire in my bad mandarin and not get ketchup... Will be returning for sure“

“I was referred by a friend to visit the place to try their $10.99 special. Fish filets with cream corn sauce on rice was one my childhood favorite and still is. It was absolutely delicious. Fish filets are crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The cream corn sauce was perfectly done. It was a very good meal for $12.10 taxed in. (How do they survive with the pricing during these times? ?). Will return to try other stuff on the menu!“

“Porchetta is starting to sit out and get preparred too much in advance, was cold. Most significant change, they are falling victim to shrinkflation. Sandwhiches are getting smaller. Nearly 15$ sandwhich now with tax don't cut down on the meats. Otherwise a good high end sandwhich place.“

My favourite sandwiches are the BBQ Pulled Pork and Pesto Chicken which is bursting with flavour. I love all of their soups although some of the soups are a little too salty for me. “A delicious, healthy unexpected find!When travelling, i find it difficult as a vegetarian to get healthy food that has protein. Tractor fit the bill! I ordered a bowl and it hit all my macros and was delicious! Usually, the portions of vegetarian protein are meagre but Tractor offered a large portion of tofu to add to my bowl and i was very happy to get adaquate protein for the one meal.The service was amazing too! “Came here for a sandwich and not wanting to go to one of the big guys decided to try this place out.Both are half sandwiches…both buns were very good. Both crispy and airy.Inside one was chicken…looked to be a pre-portioned piece of meat that was just ok. The toppings were the star of the sandwich for sure.Same goes for the meatball sandwich…the meatballs were barely warmed and if not for the bread and toppings this would’ve gone back.The star of the evening was the tomato chilli soup….not too runny and not too thick…just right. Also noted that it was suggested to get this soup out of the selections they had…almost like do not go near the others…so thanks for that.It was an ok experience…the time of day…early evening…might have been why it was not all that great.Perhaps another time. ??‍♂️“

“The Santouka Ramen Chain is always a solid, this is the benchmark for all ramen in the city (Danbo lovers don't @ me).I opted for the Happy Hour Menu (from 3PM - 6PM) which offers a choice from 3 sides (3 Pieces of Zangi, 3 Pieces of Goro-Niku Gyoza and 3 Pieces of Takoyaki).The ramen in the picture is the Shoyu Ramen which is regular size (they offer a small size which will bring the price down $1, or you can up the size to a large for $1.50).As a firm thin noodle lover, I have no complaints with the ramen quality. The broth was incredibly rich and the Char Siu is soft and flavorful. You definitely need to opt in for the Ajitama soft boiled egg as I genuinely think it's probably one of the best in the city.The Zangi is decent, but the Gyoza is a must order.Note that the restaurant does not allow outside foods for celebratory birthday cakes.“

I couldn’t decide what I wanted and he was kind enough to offer that I try before I buy (always much appreciated). I’m so glad I did because I went with the ‘ginger chilli tomato’ soup and it was exactly what I needed in that moment. As someone who values service first, this place hit the mark. I made a mistake in thinking my Mediterranean bowl came with a pita bread , the picture on the menu showed a large piece of pita bread.
