“I haven't eaten meat here, but I've tried the sushi rolls, and they were simply magical. This place is one of the best ? to try sushi ?. By the way, the restaurant is closed from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. We arrived there at 2:30 p.m., and they offered to prepare the rolls to go for us, and we received a 10% discount for it. The cost of those rolls you see in the photo was $80 including tips.“

“All I can say is that the ribs, chicken and beef ribs were juicy, fall off the bone, and full of flavor. We had a big combo for 2 and the side of beans, and fries. The beans were amazing and the gravy for the fries was the best gravy Ive ever had and I order gravy for my fries everywhere I go. I will definitely go bavck for more!“

“We made a reservation for dinner on Apr 22nd because we went the weekend before and it was 1 1/2 hour wait. The food was really good but small portions. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good“

“Tucked away inside Parker Place mall, my family and I have been coming here for their BBQ for over 20 years. Perhaps this set the standard for me for HK bbq, but after decades it remains my favourite bbq place with taste and quality as good as the traditional stalls from HK. Their BBQ duck and cha siu pork are the best; they have a unique flavour that you cant find anywhere else in Vancouver. Their roasted pork is extremely crispy and flavourful, but should be eaten when hot. Their longevity and consistency are a testiment to their product, and in a city already known for its chinese food, Parker Place BBQ stands on top as a must try.“

The fresh seafood is reasonably priced— the king crab, cooked to your preference, matches supermarket prices but exceeds in flavor. We enjoyed an 8lb king crab prepared three ways (crab fried rice, oil drizzle and salty egg yolk satay, which was a delightful surprise). The Geoduck served two ways—oil drizzle and satay with veggies—was also impressive, varying from chewy to tender and light. Our group of five was completely satisfied and even had some crab legs to take home. I’d come back from California just for these dishes!“
