“It is rare to see one place that's tranquil, exquisite, sensational, creative at the same time (many more expensive places fail at this). During my visits here, I can trust any menu item would not disappoint. These qualities makes it a great choice for many occasions.Do try everything.“

“Really great Cantonese food and the staff was very helpful walking us through some of the menu we weren’t familiar with. Definitely exceeded my expectations and was as good, if not better than some places I’ve been in NYC and San Fran. Sticky fried rice w/ chicken was the star of the evening.“

“We were visiting from Toronto and wanted to try fresh seafood cooked in a Chinese way. We ordered the king crab menu. The steamed crab was amazing. We also loved the steamed egg with crab roe and the sweet and sour pork chop. The servers were friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful time at this restaurant with my family. Will definitely come again next time!“

“We had stopped through Vancouver on our way to Whistler and made a reservation here. It was a bit challenging for 8 people to reserve from the states as they don't have an online form or email. I had to get my Canadian cousin to help me book it! There is a garage attached so they validate parking as long as you have the license plate. This is a more high end dim sum restaurant that impressed my party as you don't see this often in Austin. But this was very reminiscent of places I've been to in Toronto. We had ordered a lot of food and learned very quickly their dim sum portions are much larger than most. We had a lot of leftovers but everything tastes great and fresh. I loved their siu mai and the BBQ pork buns. They also have a fried ha gow which was new for me. We liked this place so much we came back a second time after our Whistler days. We knew how to order less this time around, but we did also order a spicy crab dish which they showed us the crab before it's cooked. Very flavorful and fresh! Service was not bad. It was nicer the first time around. They didn't seem as attentive the second time and we had a language barrier issue too with our waiter. Both times they forgot something we ordered, so just pay attention to the receipt because they cross items out as they are delivered.“

“Eddie Ng provided exceptional service during our visit, the food was very good, and they paid me back 1-hour parking from the parkade. Price was competitive with other restaurants, we ordered the promotion set and enjoyed the food very much. We will go back for other dishes.“

“Ordered Lanzhou beef noodle soup and it was honestly one of the best noodle soups I ever had. We added some spinach and green onions to it with some chilli oil and I couldn't have ate it faster. There is a sign on the street in front of the restaurant that says "Best noodle soup in town"It's not even close to enough praise ? 20/10“

“The food was great, and they offered some nice suggestions. The owners were very hospitable and saw me about to get up for more napkins and brought them to our table (A+). The black pepper chicken/beef extra spicy was legit, the veggies were cooked to al dente perfection.“

However Emma was fun, friendly and funny ? having a wonderful sense of humour. I look forward to my next visit and having Emma as the server! The meal was all you can eat and for only $20.00 great deal.I highly recommend this restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance“

“Cutest little family run restaurant. My first time in there, and the owner walked me through the menu. The family makes all of their own dumplings, noodles and buns in house. Incredible price and quality in spite of the considerable work they put into their food. Our party of two paid $50 and were full to the brim. I can't wait to be back at this hidden gem!“

“I am so glad we found this place - definitely off the beaten path- away from the tourist restaurant area- VERY AUTHENTIC Chinese. In a food court setting- atmosphere might seem rough because it’s simple - but the food was fresh and extremely good. Happy they had vegans option. Prices were good and we left satisfied after having a meal for $30 for three of us. Also- local.“

“I’ve been coming here since 2016, and believe me it gets better each time. Like a true master dedicated to his craft, Shifu Colin has carefully perfected his natural vegetable soup broth over 3 decades and continues to do so. Each time has been slightly better than the last and you can tell that he takes his craft very seriously.“

“Really phenomenal food - I don't know any other Chinese food restaurant in town with the same level of quality and atmosphere. I strongly recommend the chasiu, the singapore noodles and the cocktails. My main complaint is the service was a bit slow - it took over an hour to get all dishes, but they came out bit by bit. I would've preferred to eat some with the others that came out later. Also one of the veg dishes had undercooked squash. The reason I'm not going to give 4/5 is the food really is overall exceptional, the owner is really friendly / doing his best and there appeared to only be one main chef in the back.I say you should definitely go, but manage your expectations / hunger before going.“

“I am leaving this because there are no Korean reviews. I wasn't expecting the kind of Jjajangmyeon, Jjamppong, Sweet and Sour Pork, and Kkanpunggi that I often ate in Korea, but I was just hungry so I went in without any hesitation. When I came in, there was no greeting and I had to wait a while before they handed me the menu, so I felt that way at first. But the food was so delicious... When I asked for a recommendation, they were really kind and gave me all the menu recommendations, and the food came out quickly. It's soooo delicious ? ? I want to eat it again.. Ah, but honestly, I think it's a bit salty for Koreans' taste. Still, it was delicious ㄹㅇㄹㅇ I don't remember because I didn't put the name on the menu, but it was really delicious when it was cooked in some kind of oven. Highly recommended! I came to Vancouver to visit, but there were a lot of Chinese people. That's why, wherever I went to the restaurant, there were a lot of Chinese people. I thought it was Chinatown;; There were a lot of Chinese people coming in to eat. Looking at that, I think it's a restaurant that locals also know about.“

“It's a very typical Cantonese restaurant. When you first enter, you'll be quickly asked what tea would you like? The food comes out fresh and they have generous family style portions for the price point. Our tea and water got refilled and clean plates were exchanged on multiple occasions. They also offer multiple complementary desserts to end the meal as well. I would recommend them for dim sum and dinner in the evening.Vegetarian options: Wide selection of vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Customizable on the dishes .Parking: Lots of free parking upstairs and downstairs.Kid-friendliness: They brought out snacks for my kid“

“Sooooo fast. Such a huge menu. All photos easy to know what you are ordering. The staff friendly. Easy to work with. I picked #62 beef stir fry and a orange crush soda. Came to under $15 and nice area lots of tables in the food court for dining. Most stores here seems closed. But this little fast food place was open.#62... it's okay... not the best I've had, noodle slightly over cooked, not enough sodium (quite bland) and the beef heavily tenderized with powder. Not a fan of cabbage mixed in. But hot, and fast service.“

“Small restaurant with less than 10 tables. Came on a weekday late afternoon so it wasn’t busy. Ordered a couple of the clay pot rice and they came with soup of the day. The food came out piping hot. The rice was cooked well. The rice crust at the bottom of the pot had a nice crisp and absorbed the flavor of the sweet soy sauce. My favourite part of the meal. The soup was bland so I didn’t finish it. Each pot is made to order so expect to have a little bit of wait.“

“This place has the feeling of a small family run restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and fast. Our family of 6 was served and fed in under 30 minutes . We did their family special dinner for 5 .The food was brought out immediately from the kitchen as soon as it was ready. It was great to have a steady flow of new dishes to try, and it allowed us to be a little early to our next appointment.Street parking was the only challenge.Parking: Street parking only.“

“Ordered take out here for the first time. Easy to order over the phone. Pick-up was exactly what time they estimated. There was parking in the back where the entrance is accessible on the side of the building. Restaurant was full at 7:30. Patrons were very diverse. It's not fine dining inside but it looked very clean including the glance I had into the back. I ordered sweet and sour pork and beef fried rice noodle. The portion size was good (decently filled to fit the container). I frequently order these dishes at other restaurants and can say they were nicely done. I'd say the value is on par to other similar establishment if not slightly less expensive. The discount for pick-up was also nice. I think this might be my new go-to rather than trekking it to Fraser Street.“

“My husband and I went here last night for dinner. We had never been to a place like this before and the waitress was super helpful and showed us around and what to do/how to make our bowls etc. The bowl was amazing and fresh, the sauces were excellent, we both couldn't stop raving about it!The Mongolian BBQ single bowl was $21 per person and came with miso soup, rice, and a warm sesame bun. She also brought us a small cream puff each for dessert. We found it very reasonably priced. It was so good my husband is picking it up for take away for us for again tonight! ?Would definitely recommend!“

“Great service and food. Hot tea was poured for us as soon as we entered which was really appreciated as it was raining a lot outside. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful with going through the menu with us. We had the Dan Dan noodles and Cumin beef noodles along with the green onion pancake. Everything was delicious and arrived very quickly.“
“Pleasantly surprised. Didn’t know what to expect. Got the dinner for 3 and 4 adults shared it. We even had a bit of left over. Had it delivery and it came pretty quickly. It was great that it was complimentary because we live within their radius. Very tired of Uber eats/doordash markups for delivery. Apparently if we had picked up the food ourselves it would have been discounted. The food was all quite tasty and reminded me of my grandparents cooking. Flavourful and good portions.“

“For years relied on an upscale dim sum place with a location in Richmond and one on Main St., but had an unpleasant experience post pandemic. Have tried a couple of other places with mixed results and ended up here on Sunday. It did not disappoint - authentic, reasonably priced and delicious with some of the best service ever for a dim sum place. Sizeable menu, some items only after 11 am, large portions. Most the "usual" suspects on offer with a couple of fun twists per below. The individual portions of siu mai, hat gow etc were larger than most places and in addition, there was often one or two more pieces than one would normally have in an order. Xo sauce chunky but on point and reasonable cost, no charge for tea. Free parking out back if driving. One day I will figure out how to order Worcestershire in my bad mandarin and not get ketchup... Will be returning for sure“

“I think the experience has to do with the food u order. I was here another time and it wasn’t as pleasant. Glad I gave it a second chance . I’m going to stick to ordering the same thing when I return. The dishes in the attached photo:Spicy beef noodlesSquid tentacles (ask for a dipping sauce)Taro slush with coconut jellyPassionfruit green teaThe male server gave really good service too. Not sure if it’s because it wasn’t too busy but he was really attentive and didn’t rush us out. We ended up tipping 20% which is considerably high for a casual bubble tea establishment.“

“We have been here at least 5-6 six times in the past two years, either just ourselves or with one or two guests (seem like max 4 pp per table....a small place but petitely decored and .....very popular. So on busy weekends, or even week nights, we always try to arrive before 6pm to get a table, or arrive after 1;30pm for a late lunch.....It's worth the wait though.....once you get your table, feel free to watch the chef behind the glass windows pulling authentic noodle from scratch.....especially a popular must for first timers.....There's a All Day daily special every day (but signs only at door I think). We had a Tuesday special and the beef noodle was marvellous, and the pan fried dumplings just to perfection (not overburnt/too dry as in some other placesWe also had All Time combo D (see combo photo): fried noodle with cumin lamb pieces + pork jelly + a free pop. You can change the combinations freely just tell the waitress.....we like the flexibility. The pork jelly (spicy) was our all time favorite...the fried noodle was also good but we preferred the signature beef noodle in soup. There are many more choices to choose from the full menu. (Previously we had chive cakes....yum yum.....big pan chicken....OMG reminiscent of our travels to Lanzhou, Dunhuang....Gobi Desert.....)Had another enjoyable dinner here again to satisfy our sudden craving for spicy food. Pls note Wednesday is their day off.“

“The food at Bao Bei was an interesting asian-adjacent culinary experience. We had the family course dinner for a business group. There were wonderful and diverse flavors though the seasoning was very clearly intended for a western culinary palate, biased toward sweet rather than spicy flavors. Portions were adequate and the cocktails were really inventive and fun. I have to admit I was expecting a more authentic high-end Chinese meal, but what we had was delightful and quite memorable.“
