“The older Asian man who took our order was not friendly at all. (The first thought that entered my mind was that he was a racist) Upon entering the restaurant my friend and I greeted him twice he never did open his mouth and speak. It was our first time there so I had questions about what I wanted to order. He was very pushy and impolite rushing us even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. We should have turned around and walked out but we were tired so we ignored his rudeness. The rice was good but I wondered how it could be cooked to order when we got it right away.“

“They were open later than our normal acai place, so we decided to give this place a try... I won't be needing the other Acai place, this will be my go to place instead. more vegan options, better toppings (loved the cashew crunch typing), and they didn't charge extra for nut-butters. Acai bowl was one of the best I've had.“

“This place is incredible! I’ve only ever had katsu sandos from Japan at local convenience stores (Family Mart & 7-11), they were delicious however they weren’t super fresh and weren’t crispy due to having to be microwaved. I wanted a taste of Japan so sought out some Katsu sandos and landed here. It far exceeded my expectations. I got the Rosemary Katsu Sando with Spicy Mayo. The chicken was audibly crispy and fresh, the bread nice and soft, and the spicy mayo was the perfect level of spice and the perfect compliment to the sandwich. I got a side of waffle fries which were arguably the best waffle fries i’ve ever had, they were perfectly crispy and had a light seasoning that gave them an amazing taste and set them apart from the waffle fry competition. Nice portions on the sando however it’d be nice to fit in some more fries. I had a bite of one with berry sauce and it was too sweet for my liking but still good, i’ll be sticking with the spicy mayo (or maybe try the baja chipotle sauce). I wish they had more drink options such as homemade lemonade.Katsu Bar: 9.6/10“

“When I first went the experience was pretty nice, however the last time I went it wasn't that great. The cashier, as I was making my order, was fairly rude giving a lot of attitude, I was pretty nice regardless because she might've had a bad day, but either way it did retract some points on service. The food is amazing, it's delicious and savory. I love the poké bowls, the lemonade was actually pretty good too, I have yet to try their chicken bowls and sushi. I would say it's something worth checking out if you're looking for something refreshing and filling.Dietary restrictions: If you're worried about braces, the food they serve are mostly braces friendly, so there's nothing to worry about. If you go for the poke bowl, you can fully customize it to your liking, so if you need to eat healthier, it's a really good option.“

“The food is good but it is not worth the price. I got the pho combination which was 16 dollars. I would not mind the price but they are stingy with the meat. I would not bother coming back when there are so many other options that are worth the price of admission.“

“Have been having this for years and never a bad dish. The staff is super friendly and even offered to help carry my food to the car for me, since they saw I was carrying my son. Combo is plenty of food and you get the best of both words, salad and teriyaki- get a side of fries and extra sauce.“

“Great place to kick back and drink beers or wine with friends. More of a drinking place then a restaurant in my opinion. Great food but a little dissapointed on the sushi. It was Ok.... but some of the ingredients were not fresh and tasted a little bit old. But it was good and satisfactory tho. Will come back and try other stuff.“

“Lunasia is always a solid choice for dim sum these days no matter what city Cerritos, Monterey park or Pasadena. All of them have a decent sized menu. Whether you're craving dim sum for lunch or dinner it's always good. Depending on where you go the staff is always busy, Monterey park has a pretty long line most of the time. But you can also try and order through the kiosk, app or online. If you don't mind waiting in line for a Chinese dining experience then you'll get the full Saturday and Sunday lunch experience. Overall they're always pack let and very busy but the food is solid.“

“TLDR: It's honestly closer to 4.5 stars, but I'm rounding up since I want small businesses to grow and get the support they deserve. Got the Set B, which is covers most of the food that the place serves. I think it's a little bit on the pricey side of the amount of food you get, but the main product is good enough to be worth the return trip. Set B: Steamed Chicken, Fried Chicken, Garlic Rice, 15 Egg Rolls, 20 Fried Dumpling, Chicken Soup, Shredded Cabbage, Chopped Cucumbers, Sweet and Sour Sauce, and a Spicy Tangy Sauce. Reportedly Good for 10+, it's closer to 6 to be honest. Steamed Chicken: The least amount of flavor in the meal, but it's a decent way to kick things off. It's decently juicy, the chicken flavors are there, but you'd really need the sauce to change things up every now and then. Fried Chicken: Solid fry, good batter, and dark meat chicken doing its thing. Best bite of the meal if paired with the rice. Garlic Rice: It's ginger rice, really. It's very good ginger rice. It's easy to eat a lot of it, and feel very heavy afterwards. Egg Roll: It's not crispy (or it has steamed on the drive home to make things soggy). Calling it "filled with vegetables" isn't exactly the truth since it felt like 60% air. Past all that, it's not bad but not great. You're basically paying $26 more and hoping that is worth this and the fried gyoza. Fried Gyoza: Average filling with average flavor. It's a shame they fried it, but I guess I just prefer steamed over fried. Veggies and Sauces: These don't move the needle for me. They're alright, they help compliment the meal, but I'm not gonna come back just for those. Chicken Soup: It's free if you dine in, and they'll still allow you to get some if you're waiting for your to-go order. I helped myself while waiting for my number to be called and it's alright. It's light and feels fresh. It's something you'd want when sick or when it's cold outside. Set B comes with a to-go container of chicken soup as well. Ambiance: It's a nice small restaurant that you and a few friends can go to and enjoy. Parking will be a challenge, but it's pretty good outside of that minor issue. Service: Kind staff, and kind owners. Not much I can say about this given I didn't stay too long.“
