“Oishi desu!! (It's delicious) I found this place by just searching for Japanese food near the botanical garden up the street. Needless to say, my search didn't fail me. The omakase meal set was so good!! We went here for Valentine's Day and I made a reservation a week ahead of time, just to be safe, but I don't think it was necessary. I think walk ins were being accepted. We both got the omakase set, one NY steak and one filet mignon. So good! Cooked to perfection. Ending the meal with dessert, we had a wide variety of selection. We got one green tea crème brûlée (WHICH IS SO GOOD! Would come back just for this) and one mango cake, which was also so good, tasting like a gummy. Overall, this place is presentable, and also surprisingly affordable for what you get. I would come back here for a special occasion.“

I think I paid around 12-16 with tip for a quality meal I got the salmon plate with rosemary potatoes and corn with pepper! The meal was amazing and service was awesome! “Love this restaurant. The wait time was supposed to be 20+ minutes but I feel like I got it in less time. It's nice to see everyone working at a tolerable speed where I don't think they're stressed out and orders aren't taking more than 20 mins. My experience with Kimbap at other restaurants is they take more than 30 mins because they're also dealing with online orders, phone orders and in house orders. But I believe everyone at this restaurant was doing that but still making good time management without sacrificing the quality and presentation of the food. I had an order of beef kimbap and an order of spam Kimbap. I'm looking forward to trying out more of the menu here when I'm in the area.“

“Really good Happy Hour selections! Plenty more on the regular menu. Prices are fair. The service was the downer a bit. The server took long to come back to us and our happy hour food took a long while to get to our table. The slider bread was overly toasted so by the time it got to the table it was pretty hard bread. Everything we had was great.Parking: Park near Chase Bank area for more chances of parking spots and further away keeps the dents on the cars away.“

“Great food, just be careful if you get the Mr. Lee's SCReaM'n Chicken Burrito, it is super hot! I love spicy food but even for me this was a bit much. The mushrooms were a bit odd so maybe I'll get a different burritos next time. Great service decent prices, fun socal vibe inside“

“Last week I was traveling through LA on my way to Santa Barbara. I had some time to kill so I looked up Poke. Came across this amazing place! I am admittedly new to Poke. The staff took good care of me and I wound up having such a hard decision. I think the spicy Poke might have been might absolute favorite. I can’t wait for my next trip to LA so I can stop there again!“
