“Located right in the center of busy Austin Street, this gem was a great choice for delicious and filling ramen at very affordable prices. Before you enter, you'll find yourself staring at the wooden, cozy storefront that screams "comfort food". To start off, we had the kara-age and takoyaki which were good with a drizzle of lemon. However, the main star was my kara miso ramen with pork, which had a hearty miso soup base with a dab of spice sauce. There are also non-pork options such as the seafood yaki bowl, which my friend had. Despite the full house on a friday evening, the service was great and very attentive. We left with a full stomach and a warm soul. Highly recommend :)“

“We’ve had our fair share of instant noodles growing up, so it’s so cool to see our memories of instant noodles culminating in an Instant Noodle Factory. This spot elevates ordinary noodles into a novel experience that's not limited to just college dorm rooms and late night eats. Instant noodles are so convenient for a quick lunch or as a snack, and it’s so easy to prepare by simply adding boiling water. It’s pretty awesome to see how a meal like this has been turned into such a fun concept in LIC. I love the wall of ramen showcasing all the different types of ramen right when you walk in. They even have the spice level of each noodle displayed. My friends and I ordered the beef birria, mala madness, champong, and duck duck noods, which are mostly combinations of classic instant noodles. With each noodle dish, you have the option to add extra toppings and sides on - we opted for toppings such as corn, fried fishballs, shrimp shumai, scallions, shrimp, and fried fish cakes. Ben, of course, got the beef birria noodle soup, which comes with tender marinated beef, corn, and jalapeños. The duck duck noods come with a pulled duck leg, scallions, and a soft-boiled egg. The mala madness is a combination of Buldak Fire noodles and mala spice. Our cousin loves spice, so he handled it really well - he could've upgraded to the Buldak 2x spicy. I got champong, a spicy seafood noodle soup, and added corn, shrimp, and fried fish cakes with edamame. Don't forget a drink to wash the noodles down! I really liked the iced lychee yakult tea and peach iced tea.“

“FOOD:The ramen I received was very tasty, the poached egg inside was amazing. The chicken was nice and the vegetables were good. There was corn, which I'm not a huge fan of, but overall good ramen. I also had dumplings, which were (of course) a huge upgrade from the packaged ones. To top it off, the lemonade was quite sour but tasted okay if you sipped a little at a time.INSIDE:It was very clean, no dirt at all and the tables and chairs were cleaned up. There were also cool things on the wall and a clean bathroom (that had funny jokes inside)OVERALL:Although it had some high prices, I really enjoyed this place, either if you never had Japanese food or if you did, this will be a nice idea for yourself and maybe even others. Totally recommended.“

“Listen flushing is a huge place but amazing food options are not, this place is a Gem. When i saw the set up it reminded me of a place i went to in Japan sitting around the bar killing a bowl of miso ramen ( that i need to try next) and they have amazing small bites if your on the go like me. This place is now my go to spot. Last but not least the service is unmatched as soon as you come the door you are greeted with a smile even if your just walking past which i love“

“An awesome ramen going in Forest Hills. 100% better than kyuramen if you can get a spot. The Tako Wasabi was the real stuff and hits hard with a great Wasabi kick. You can taste that it isn't subpar quality. The takoyaki was delicious. My friends got the ramen which was super satisfying. My katsu don was also tasty, although the cutlet felt a tad bit soggy. For the amount of your Japanese staples and the very fresh cook on these dishes, I highly recommend tamashii red. It's popular for a reason so be ready to wait if you come at a busy time. I still highly recommend it - it feels like authentic tasty local Japanese food.“

“Perfect cold day to get a bowl of hot noodle soup. I've tried the flushing location before, so I had high expectations. This Elmhurst location was no different. The beef stew with hand-cut noodles - Super flavorful broth, with good heaping pieces of beef. The hand-cut noodles were al dente.Beef Stir Fried hand-cut noodles - This was okay in flavor, but the noodles were bouncy and chewy.Pork burger - More fat than pork meat. It was greasy but tasty.“

“The server was very friendly and kind, and the service was quick and attuned. The ambiance is very comfortable, where although the seating are a bit on the tighter end, it's still distanced enough where you're not on top of each other. The hojicha latte was delicious where it was perfectly sweetened and thoroughly mixed without tasting any grains of undissolved powder, highly recommended! The Karaage was very tender and juicy, with a nice crisp and delicious aioli to pair perfectly with it! The Tsukemen Ramen, although flavorful due to its rich dipping broth, was a bit overly simplistic where the ingredients didn't really add much to its overall flavor profile. Adding some corn or seaweed may enhance the dish further by giving it more pleasurable contrast in terms of texture and flavor, but that's just my personal opinion and preference. However, the noodle had a nice bouncy texture and the egg was flavorfully gelatinous, which were both delicious. Overall, it was a good experience and I look forward to returning to try their other ramen selections! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:“

“Chachawan was a great experience. We started with the chicken satay, fried dumplings, the Rose Rangoon, and the Tom Kha soup. It was extremely flavorful and delicious, the portion sizes for each appetizer was also such a great plus because once we got our meals it was the perfect amount to start with. The Lychee ice tea was also amazing and the Thai iced coffee as well was the perfect pick me up because it wasn't so sweet and the coffee flavor was superb. Our main dishes were the chicken Pad Thai and my husband got the Kao Kra Pao Nuar and OMG delicious! the steak was a perfect medium rare and the rice and runny egg were delicious. The Pad Thai was so flavorful my daughter was excited to eat what she called "spaghetti." The dessert was also 10/10 the mango sticky rice was OMG perfect not too sweet but the mango was sooo good. Overall, it was an amazing experience the waitress was so nice and explained everything thoroughly. I recommend anyone looking for delicious Thai food to check this place out! Thanks again for such great hospitality.“

“Arrived 6:10 on a weekday evening and scored the final table. Immediately after that, the crowds started to pour in and they all had to wait. Small narrow first floor setting. Diners were praising the ramen I hear from other tables. Ordered potato croquette. The croquette was made with precision flavors. Tasted the freshness, outer fried layer was also very golden. Being familiar with ramen with experience in having eaten in Japan, this is NOT on the same level. However this is a 5-star review because of its solid consistency, as shown by how the crowds were willing to wait outside. For me the star dish was the fried tofu. Friedness level was good and interior quality of the tofu was also decent but it was ultimately the sauce that it was drowned in! That was made with very well-thought out flavors. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Portions were large. Areas were clean and tidy. Ambience was cute with manga decor. Overall, this makes a great spot for smaller groups. Upstairs also looked very happening with those skewer options. Will try next time.“
