“We receded right away upon arrival. As is often the case, the food was amazing. But our server, TJ, was not up to the normal Cameron Mitchell standards. Although we were not his only table, he seemed easily distracted by other guests. When he input our appetizer order, we ordered two of the same thing but he must've only put in one so that when it was delivered to the table we were missing The other item. It took him several minutes to realize it and then an additional amount of time for them to make the appetizer and bring it to the table. He was also slow to notice our beverages needed refilled. When drinks were ordered, he was slow to get them to the table. But from where we were seated, we could see that the drinks have been made at the bar.“

“Diana at the bar, Alexis at our table, the food, presentation, ambiance, vibe, setting, hostesses, were all fantastic! Alexis even brought a candle for the brownie with ice cream because she knew our son had just graduated from OSU. I can't wait to come back!“

“I took a large group of my colleagues here during some off hours. The staff was incredibly attentive and very kind. The service alone is enough justification to come back. They had a lot of choices on their menu, but based on the group's response, they executed everything we ordered excellently. I personally got the gim bap, which was very tasty (perfect with a Sapporo). I also tried the gyoza and a bit of my friends stew (a Korean stew with rice cakes - don't remember the name), and they were both awesome as well. There is enough variety on the menu to warrant coming back frequently to try new things, both Japanese and Korean. Definitely look forward to my next visit.“

“First time in! Wonderful experience and our server at the counter, Laurie, was amazing. Sweet, attentive, recommended some of her favorite items, and made a point to let us know about all the fresh made items they offer at breakfast. Quick service and service with a smile. Will be back.Parking: Found a spot pretty close to the front. Was surprised by this, but the server did say that this was one of their slower mornings than usual. Probably less parking when it’s busier.“

“I usually do not give 5 stars unless something really makes the place stand out. What stood out was the quality and quantity of food for the money. Additionally we had a large group 15 people and EVERYONE was happy with everything. The service was good especially for this many people! Thank you Johnny our wonderful server who just graduated from OSU!Definitely recommend!Parking: Large parking lot by the strip mall!Kid-friendliness: Great service with a great smile!“

“The food here is amazing, I wish they would bring back the fried cauliflower because that meal was always great. I've been a few times and everyone seems to love the fried chicken, I cannot get enough of their broccoli which I know sounds odd but they put a flavorful sauce on it. Their biscuits are great and the potato cracklins are nice and crispVegetarian options: They now have a quinoa bowl that is delicious and they have some vegetarian sides and appetizers, be aware though alot of the fried foods are cooked in the same oil as the chicken“

“We came here after OSU's graduation. They were able to accomodate us at a different time than previously planned because of the ceremony not taking as long as expected. Our waiter, Owen, was prompt and attentive. The menu is extensive and everyone was able to find something they enjoyed. My husband was excited by the craft beer on rotation. It was a good experience and I would not hesitate to schedule another dinner here.“

“The food was absolutely delicious! I’m new to trying Indian cuisine, but the server and owner Sunita was extremely helpful and gave amazing suggestions. Seriously some of the best food I’ve ever had! I really recommend the house platter and the chicken biryani (don’t forget to grab a 22oz beer while you’re there!)“

“I have returned from my hiatus to speak on behalf of parable (again). Pastries just wake me up like nothing else. I say that but every time I try to get to parable "early" (i.e., before 10am), I fail to do so ;'( But it's ok! These days there are still goodie pastries available for the sleepy birbs (hurrah) Unfortunately, my gastrointestinal system did not hunger at that hour of the morn, so the spinach artichoke danish was a bit of an underwhelming experience, even though the danish was freshly toasted ;'( I liked the chip though (cronch). Otherwise, it kind of gave artichoke dip but served in a pastry vessel instead of a plastic container. I enjoyed the honey grapefruit brûlée circle croissant and guava cream cheese pastelito more. Neither were too sweet and both had nice crispity crunchities! Service was very thoughtful as well! Whenever staff brought pastries to someone's table, they'd always ask if the person would like a fork and would then go run and grab one. I personally prefer to go feral on my food with my fingers but the gesture seemed very kind. Also, I'm pretty sure the entire album of The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess was played. We stan queer icons“

“Cool, casual, basic Mediterranean spot, where you order at the counter. My husband frequents this place quite often and he is quite a fan. I think it is okay, nothing extraordinary. The hummus came with pita and salad. The salad was fresh and refreshing. The hummus was good however, the pita was not quite great- It wasn’t terrible either ( you can give it a benefit of doubt because I consider myself quite snob and picky when it comes to pita). The chicken. Shawarma platter came with rice. The yellow rice was flavorful and the chicken was dry and very basic. My husband ordered lamb shacks- which was okay too ( although the lambs were too smelly; I mean the usual nutty/ funky lamb smell). The portion was huge, I had to take stuff back in home and ate the left over in the next day lunch.“

“I had high expectations coming here and they were exceeded. Very flavorful! Too many restaurants are cautious about flavor but Comune really goes for it. This does mean you may be better off going with a group comfortable sharing so if something is too sour, spicy, etc., someone else at your table will like it if you don't. Some subtle flavors here are impressive too! Everything is medium sized (kind of like proper Spanish tapas) which is really fun--esp for sharing. Beware the servers may recommend ordering A LOT of food. If you are drinking, three choices for two should be plenty to start and likely enough total--then order 1-2 more only if you are still hungry. Tables can be small so they can't serve you more than 1-2 dishes at a time anyway. If you cook veg food at home there are so many ideas to play with from here. I'm going to try to make quick carrot pickles, cook with crispy rice, and celeriac at home in the coming months now too. Sometimes I'll only discover 1-2 techniques or dishes I want to make at home PER YEAR eating out so to be inspired by three different things in a single meal is wonderful. I almost never go places that can cost $50-$75 per person but this is absolutely worth it. So so good!“

“Excellent service in front-of-house. I believe it was the owner taking our order. She quickly asked if we wanted to sample the soup of the day while we looked over the menu. It was tomato basil and absolutely delicious. We ordered a large serving of that soup, served with corn bread (not pictured). We also ordered the BBQ jackfruit sandwich with sweet potato fries, served with sriracha mayo. She heard us mentioning we were planning to share everything, and each dish was kindly split evenly on two plates when it was brought out. They also had a full dessert cabinet stocked with all sorts of brownies, cheesecake, cupcakes, and other varieties of sweet treats, baked elsewhere and delivered fresh. We ordered some type of shortbread strawberry jam cinnamon crumble bar. Perfect balance of sweet/salty/creamy/crumbly.Love this place and would recommend to anyone - vegan or not!“

“We went on a tour here to learn about how they make their spirits. The tour was great, and our guide Maggie was very informative while being casual and easy to talk to. I would love to go back and meet their spirit master Adam. Prices are average compared to other places in Columbus. Vodka and gin are very affordable without tasting cheap. Only negative is there isn’t much parking. Overall I am more than satisfied with my experience here. Can’t wait for the bourbon to be released!!“

“Went to the North Market location. Delicious dumplings and an wonderful sauce. They also have a spicy sauce but it's pretty spicy! I got the chicken and they were pretty great. Chicken can be a little dry so the sauce was a nice addition. The pork was wonderfully moist. I wish I had tried the vegetable options. Next time. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back.“

“Since adopting a plant based lifestyle, I quickly learned that authentic dining options were limited to impossible burgers and cauliflower wings...until I discovered Nile Vegan!! On most days, this is a One-Man operation! He offers impeccable customer service and takes time to educate his guests so they get the most out of the entire dining experience! All of the stews are perfectly prepared and tantalizing to the taste buds! This is truly a hidden gem right in our backyard!“

“Here, I thought this was just another american diner. I just wanted something local to eat. I wasn't expecting the mexican american cuban combo. Seriously, french toast bites, a breakfast burrito, and plantains! They put real fruit on the french toast. I love it. The place was packed, and it should be. I drive truck, and out of the many places I've been around the country, this diner is a real gem. Great food. Nice people.“

“Run, don't walk to this restaurant. Absolutely delicious! We visited during COVID and picked up through the drive through, which is still available, but this time we decided to visit. We didn't have a reservation so we sat at the bar. It did get fairly busy on Sunday afternoon so a reservation may be helpful. They have a nice selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks but we just opted for a couple beers on draft. We ended up ordering the chicken and rice noodles, pork lumpia and the bbq chicken skewer. Everything was so good! The rice noodles were cooked perfectly and the flavoring on the bbq chicken was amazing. We also tried the halo halo dessert which also did not disappoint. Great service and wonderful food!“

“Pulling up to this place really made me feel like I found something special. Everything was enjoyable. All the food we tried needed a little salt. A tiny pinch of flaked finishing salt would really be that final step into flavor town. The patio is enchanting and the people are very kind. They also have great “

“A very unique take on Mediterranean. The menu was a little confusing at first, but the employees were helpful. Everything tasted great and was extremely fresh. The pita was fluffy and hot, fresh from the oven. The hummus was fantastic! I really enjoyed this meal and thought it was perfect for a hot day. Overall very fresh and a solid meal! I was a little sad they don’t offer gyros meat, but the chicken was still great.Vegetarian options: Most of the menu would be great as a vegetarian option. Simply avoid the meat. The hummus and baba ganoush are a great veg option for a protein base.“

“Cute little cafe in downtown! I walked here from my hotel after reading about this Lemon Aioli and Rosemary-Lemon Sausage, I knew I had to have it. I placed my order online and headed over. It's super cute and isn't incredibly busy in the area where it's located. It also has its own parking lot which is a plus! My order was ready as soon as I arrived. I ordered the Rosemary Breakfast Sammich. Yum! Totally unique and unlike any breakfast sandwich I've had. Super flavorful, and the marriage of the flavors betwixt the fresh baked croissant bun. Chef's kiss! I also ordered a regular drip coffee. It was tasty! The cafe itself is adorable and cozy, but bright and happy. I also really loved reading about (and supporting!) their mission. Swing by here while you're in the area and have one of their elevated breakfast staples. You won't be disappointed!“

“Happened upon Grand Day Cafe on a Thursday, late morning. The restaurant is clean, bright and nicely decorated. While a full dining area the acoustics were perfect for a quiet conversation. The host and server were cheerful and pleasant and very attentive, checking in often. I ordered the Chicken Salad Melt on sourdough, which was grilled to perfection. The chicken salad had great flavor and just the right mix of ingredients. I got chips instead of fries and the presentation was inviting and even included a spig of parsley. Coffee was good and my cup stayed full the entire time. Check out their specials of the day board across from the checkout counter. One thing not note is they are a breakfast/lunch venue with limited hours, closing at 2:30 on weekdays and 3:00 on weekends.“

“Brassica is a Lebanese-inspired, Chipotle-style fast casual joint that lets you build your own pita sandwiches, salads, or hummus and chips. I usually get the salad option, akin to a bowl, with a base of lentils and greens. Protein choices include falafel, vegetable mix, chicken shawarma, or harissa-rubbed brisket. I've always gotten the chicken shawarma and the flavoring is really good. Next comes the vegetables (roasted carrots, marinated eggplant or cauliflower), and you top it off with a variety of sauces. My go-to sauces are the 'special' sauce (think tzatziki without dill) and roasted red pepper. In addition, you can add either hummus or baba ganoush, as well as crispy onions or crushed up pita chips to give it a crunch. The ingredients are fresh, delicious, and blend together wonderfully. One downside for first timers is that the menu board is posted on the left hand side near the front entrance, which makes it difficult to view once you get to the serving line. I'm not sure if they have handheld laminated menus, but imagine that could be helpful. In addition, the food is rather pricey for similar style restaurants -- my most recent bowl was $16 without a drink or any extras (i.e. the fries, which are pretty popular). However, the quality is excellent so as long as you're okay with paying a bit extra for high quality ingredients with superb flavor, Brassica is definitely worth trying!“
