“We had the best drinks ever made by the bartender Gage! He was so sweet & made such delicious drinks. We had the lavender sunset, blackberry smash, and a Kentucky mule. He even made up a delicious mocktail for my 10 year old niece. We’ll definitely come back! ?“

“Came here on a very rainy Sunday in December and was sat immediately (I think the heavy rain played a roll; few people were venturing out). Came here specifically to have a Christmasy festive brunch bc I heard the hype about the decorations. Very well decorated: tree, stand up Santa, moving Grinch, lights, festive drinks... small typical brunch menu. Husband had steak and eggs which he very much enjoyed and I had the stuffed French toast (the vegetarian options were all sweet: pancakes or French toast). It was very tasty but like a big dessert. I'd love to see avocado toast make it to their menu one day. Husband had the Bloody Mary that he enjoyed. I had a basic mimosa... basic. I ordered the snowball old fashioned bc I thought I had seen it on socials as the old fashioned that they create a white bubble on giving it its snowball name. It was just a regular old fashioned. Kid friendly: they do have a kids menu but at brunch it's ONLY buttered noodles. High chairs availableOverall I would go back for a trivia event or holiday decor (if they put the same effort into Halloween I'd see what they do for that) but probably later in the day for just simple apps and beers, not cocktails.“

“Truly outstanding! I have visited Charleston for years, and yes there are good restaurants downtown, BUT Grace and Grit is equal or tops them!! We dined twice, and both times the food is exquisitely executed, so fresh, flavors created with great care, service each time over the top excellent! The manager came over and was truly a gem! He cares so much for the patrons, restaurant and staff, and it shows! Facility is spotless, modern, and very inviting. Lots of choices for beverages, and bourbon lovers will be ecstatic with 400 choices! Try the local appetizer clams, I am still craving them they are so good! We are from Florida, and their key lime pie is better than the original in Key West, and honestly other places I have had in Florida. Loved everything, from salad, to clams, oysters, fish all so fresh, and my husband had their pork chop that was also beyond excellent! This is our new favorite place first over anything famous downtown. Don't pass up- you will be sorry you missed. Location just a minute over the bridge, no challenges for parking as free large lot.“

“My wife and I stumbled upon this great place in the heart of the French Quarter. Exceptional service, great food, and a very cool Charleston pub. We shared the fish and chips, and also the house chips with their ranch dressing for dipping. Wonderful.“

“Ate her twice during our trip to Charleston, and recommend it to anyone. Starting with great she crab soup through a good selection of drinks, appetizers and entrees, we thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The mussels were excellent, and the seafood platter is a welcome change from commercial fried fare.“

“I absolutely love every experience that I’ve had at vintage coffee in Mount Pleasant! The avocado toast is beyond incredible, sweet, salty, and definitely unique, it’s a masterpiece of flavor. Coupled with a great service that makes for a fantastic place to meet friends, family and clients. Awesome place to have coffee outside and enjoy the sunny weather..“

“Great sushi! We were recommended this place by a local and it did not disappoint! The cocktails were hand crafted and delicious. The food was outstanding. We had some very unique sushi rolls, one with cilantro which was killer and another one with some really unique flavors. Can’t remember the names so I guess we will have to come back and try more! Priced very well for such high quality.“

“The staff was exceptional. They not only served well, they would take the time to speak to all of their customers. I started with the She Crab Soup which was amazing! Then I had the salmon which was served on a plank and was excellent! My husband ordered the French Onion Soup which wasn't very good. He said it tasted like it was made with beef bouillon. He ordered the Chicken Marsala which he described as fine but nothing special. I would have like a few more seafood entrees on the menu. We will definitely return but we would not order the French Onion Soup, the She Crab is far superior!“

“This was our first dinner in the area to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. We were seated on the patio. Our server was excellent and the food was fantastic! We had all appetizers and a couple bottles of wine. Both desserts on the menu were great too! We will most definitely dine here next time we are in Charleston.“

“We had the best service we have had in many many dinner outings. Last minute we decided on Savi….. so glad we did. Our server Holden & his bartender Keith were just great, very pleasant, informative about the menu and wine selections all while being happy and polite. Those traits are not easy to come by in the last few years. Both Holden and Chef Vinny went above and beyond with my and my husband’s dinner request's and dietary restrictions. Such a warm, friendly and delicious dining experience. Thank you Holden and the Savi team for a great night.Carrie & TomDietary restrictions: Shellfish Allergy.“

“Had a wonderful lunch here. The patio's views are great, as are the views from inside if you want something cooler. The food was very good, portions large and filling! As for the service, some of the most personable and best service I've had in a long time! Wish every meal out was as enjoyable as this one was.“

“Super cute authentic mexican cuisine in MP. They have a really cute brightly colored interior (I loved the mermaid art in the womens bathroom!!) and have tables plus bar table seating. There is a pet friendly patio for when the weather is nice. The laid back vibes are great for people with pets or kids. We stopped in for a quick lunch. Ordered some appetizers and two entrees. The shrimp was well cooked and flavorful! The avacado salad was amazing. I would buy that weekly if I lived in MP. The enchiladas were also very good. I wish they had put more shredded lettuce and tomato's on The topping but it was delicious! We will definitely come back next time we are visiting“

“I thought I knew what a good breakfast biscuit tasted like, until I came here for the first time. The breakfast here puts all others to shame! Not only is the food delicious (especially the vicious biscuit itself), but the service was fast and considerate. If you are in the area this is the best place you could get breakfast from!“

“We were seated quickly, and greeted by our server with in a few minutes. The food was fresh, hot, and seasoned to perfection. They have an excellent choice of sides. The collard greens, mac and cheese, and fried okra were wonderful.I had the fried flounder, it was coated in seasoned cornmeal coating, which was crisp and browned perfectly. The quality was reminiscent of my mom's wonderful cooking.“

“Nautical Bowls came as a pop up booth at MUSC for a few days. I am so glad y’all came here! The nice lady at the booth was so informative about her explanation of what each part of the smoothie bowl was for a beginner like me. She talked to me for a bit and was so kind to me. My fiancé had just went into surgery, and I can’t stop thinking at how personable and sweet she was. It made this hard time a lot easier, and this smoothie bowl is delicious. I got the sunrise bowl. The blue majic coconut part is my absolute favorite. All the ingredients are very fresh. I will be visiting the booth again, and I can’t wait to try the brick and mortar location. Y’all are awesome!“

“I absolutely loved this place it had some seriously good coffee that was hot and it barely took any time to come out in the first place! The workers here were nice to us and were smiling the whole time, you could tell that they enjoyed their job and their customers. The outdoor seating was super comfortable and cute and to top it all off it even had a cool umbrella! I would definitely recommend this place for a delicious and fast cup of coffee.“

“Ordered the soft shell crab special… it was HUGE! Got two of them along with risotto and broccoli. We had good service but witnessed a few customers coming up to staff saying they needed service at their table. Otherwise we were just fine. Husband got the new Tuna bowl… which was also amazing. I will say my soft soft crab special, being $49.95, should have been disclosed ahead of time (the cost.) I probably would have still ordered as the dish was a ton of food but for others, maybe something to consider. I wish I snapped a pic of it. Broccoli was cooked PERFECTLY and the risotto was sooo good. It had corn and asparagus cuts in it. Amazing. Overall, great experience, with friendly staff.“

“Delicious gyros! Traditional Greek recipes and ingredients. No lamb- and they took the time to explain why. In Greece lamb gyros are not traditional which I found interesting and insightful. That being said, they informed me they are known for pork…of course I ordered chicken before knowing. So I will just need to come back and get the pork soon ? the baklava was also perfectly flakey and just the right amount of sweetness. I like when there are still identifiable pieces of nuts in the layers and theirs certainly had some. Can’t wait to return.“

“A good local coffee shop. I got the tidal wave after seeing pics of it online. I tried asking the barista what's in it but he told me it's kind of a secret, but that it's sweet and salty. I thought this was cool so I ordered it. I'm not sure the flavor but it had a milky taste. Wasn't the best drink I ever had but I liked the element of surprise. My friend got a galaxy drink that is a black color due to the ingredients in it. It's cool looking. The decor in here is also fabulous. Good place to read or do work if you're local.“

“My favorite place to get this shrimp roll!!! It's a little pricey but well worth it. They have so many delicious other choices as well. Cute cafe and every time I've been there, the owners were working. Great service and friendly staff!!!! I heard their lobster roll was to die for as well!!! Yum!“
“I had the pleasure of stopping by there yesterday afternoon and it was awesome. Super friendly staff, great space (i didnt know about the huge warehouse area until I was about to leave) and the 4 different beers I tried were are very good and true to style. My only regret is not grabbing a 4 pack of the Black IPA to go! PRO TIP" Google Maps will get you almost there...its a blue building down behind a row of industrial buildings, across the street from two blokes :)“

“I got fajitas. They were not cooked all the way and they were not served on the cast iron skillet. It would be better if it was served on a skillet type. My wife got the quesadillas and she said they were delicious. The waitress and the atmosphere were excellent though. And the salsa that you get at the beginning of your meal was most excellent.“

“The food here is insanely fresh and made so well. Flavors were really on pointe and made humble classics like the grilled cheese taste new and exciting, same with their daily soup options. My husband and I were passing through on our way to Charleston, and we're definitely stopping here on our way back home! We got the pimento grilled cheese, peppercorn/horseradish/coriander rare roast beef sandwich, ceasar salad, and tomato/tarragon/crab soup. All of it was shockingly good, and if you're a bit of a snob about good ceasar dressing like I am (has to have anchovies somewhere in the recipe), you will be delighted by this salad! If I would give any criticism, I would say with a full house it can get loud and make some conversation indoors a bit difficult, but we were pretty focused on eating our great food anyways haha.Parking: Clearly a popular spot because parking was hard to come by in the small lot they're located in.“
“If I could give 10 stars I would!! I was visiting my son last week in CHARLSTON SC and was lucky to have experienced this Amazing High quality Brewery !!! Still hot by the time I parked, it was full of meat and veggies and lots of flavor.Next time, dine in. “You have Vickerys bar and grill upstairs a classic port side restaurant with a beautiful view of the harbor, marsh and ocean and then you have Muddys downstairs just off the dock. Vickerys has delicious fresh seafood and a very reasonable price. The crab cakes will blow your mind and you won't be paying $25 or more that they charge just a few hours inland. They have a large comfortable bar, great friendly service and an overall welcoming feeling from the minute you walk in the door. Then you walk downstairs to Muddys. Muddys is basic but has all you need. A sandy dock side bar just off the water where you can sit and feel like your on vacation at some far away port. You can cozy up to the bar with your feet in the warm sand, watch the boats pull into the harbor while taking in the fresh smell of the ocean and enjoying an awesome view. The drinks are cheap and the fresh seafood is affordably priced and delicious. I strongly suggest going when they have all you can eat oysters. Awesome... Nothing better then hanging out with friends, new and old and spending a day away at this little slice of paradise.“
“Love this place. Perfect for the beer aficionado or even the casual beer drinker looking to expand his/her palate. Great vibe to the place and a knowledgeable staff. Parking is decent too.My one knock is when I asked for water (after I'd reached my limit) the barkeep handed me a plastic cup and said pointed me to the water fountain in the back near the restroom.Come on guys. It's water. Don't send your patrons to fill their own plastic cup from your drinking fountain. It's the little things. This won't keep me from returning. I'll be back but I just like to give reasons for my grade of 4 stars versus 5.“

“My husband and I came here for lunch today on Cinco de Mayo and it was great! The food was very delicious and had a great flavor. This was by far the BEST fajitas we've had anywhere in the lowcountry. Our waiter was very friendly and the food came out really quick! My berry margarita was very good too. We sat outside and they have a nice patio. Their prices aren't too bad compared to some places around the area. I can't wait to come back!“

“My girlfriend and I are in town for a week and hit this spot randomly after a beach day with the dog. What a find! The jalepeno shrimp tacos are seriously the best shrimp tacos I've ever had, and the price is not super inflated like a lot of other "Street taco" style places I've been to. Margaritas were on point (prickly pear is hands down the best) and nice and strong. Even with all the choices we have around Charleston for only being here a week we chose to come here multiple times because of how good it was. If I'm ever back, there's no question where I'm coming again.“

“Always have a good time at Mainland. On the most recent visit, it was pretty crowded and they may have been understaffed so service was a little slow. But service staff was very friendly and helpful.I ordered the grouper bites which were ok. Not a fan of the breading/batter they used but the fish was good and great sauce to accommodate. They usually have some live music on the weekends and the outdoor space is where it’s all at! Usually they have decent amount of seating unless it’s an oyster roast day.The best part is the dogs love it.“

“Although I have never stayed at one of the PH rooms, I have dined there a number of times since they’ve been open. Each time has been such a memorable experience. Staff always goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, at home, and catered to. The environment of PH (both indoor and outdoor) is immaculate. PH is curated with beautiful southern decor which makes you feel right at home in The Old Village. But I have to say, I experience just as good of hospitality at their Basic Kitchen location. Basic Projects seemingly always go the extra mile in training their staff to deliver the true southern experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough to anyone local or visiting Charleston.Nearby activities: Walking distance of Old VillageSafety: In safe Mt. Pleasant, Old Village neighborhood.Walkability: Walkable to Shem Creek.Food & drinks: Clean and upscale eats.Noteworthy details: Curated southern decor.“
