“We had the best lunch here! Our group was very large for a bachelorette party and they were able to accommodate us well, we did make a reservation in advance. All of the drinks were fantastic, several of our group had mococktails, and others had cocktails but all were absolutely delicious. I wasn't able to take a photo but the shrimp and oysters were amazing to have as appetizers, especially for a large group. I plan to visit this restaurant again when I return.“

“I came here after having dinner upstairs. This is a small but nice little ice cream shop that you see on most beach towns. There were 5 people working behind the counter although it was the middle of winter and tourism had dropped significantly. I ordered a gelato. The guy behind the counter was very nice. They offer cakes, pies, and cookies as well if ice cream isn't your thing. Everything was great!“

“Do you like bbq?Do you enjoy amazing service?Do you love being by the water?Well then, why are you even looking at reviews? Because, it doesn’t get better than HOMETEAM. I grew up in Columbia South Carolina, where we were lucky enough to get a home team barbecue that opened up right before I graduated. When I moved to Charleston to start my career and I found out I highly recommend asking for Peyton or Cam as they will make this unbelievable experience this is where they were founded I was immediately more attracted to the locally owned establishment with amazing Que.If you have the luxury of making it to the Sullivan Island location, I highly recommend you ask for Peyton and or Cam. As they will take this experience to an elevated level for you.10 out of 5 stars… a full send, as the kids would say.“

“Every once in a while you “find” a great place that has been right in front of you all along. High Thyme is one of those places! We came in for dinner for the first time recently and were blown away and couldn’t believe it has been an option for us for so many years and we just have been missing out. The food was incredible, portions generous, service friendly and knowledgeable and the wine was very reasonably priced with great selection. We arrived right at 5 and the dining area had plenty of tables available but it appeared as though the bar may have opened up a bit earlier because every stool was already filled. By 5:30 the dining room was also packed (this was a Saturday night in between Christmas and New Year’s for reference). All in all we are thrilled to find another great spot on Sullivan’s and can’t wait to go back. Definitely aspiring regulars.“

“When spending a day at the beach on Sullivans Island the Co-Op is a must stop. Saw many patrons eating, but we came for the Frose and weren’t disappointed.A walk to the beach with a frozen drink solves most all problems. Staff was amazing, drinks were outstanding. Don’t pass up when on Sullivans.“

“My wife and I stopped in for lunch before heading to the beach. The fish tacos were excellent. The tuna tacos were perfectly seasoned and seared, and the side of fries was amazing (I don’t normally comment on fries). The market fish tacos were a fried grouper taco which were the highlight of the meal. A side of fruit that was only blueberries and blackberries was a pleasant surprise since I’m used to getting cantaloupe and honey dew in fruit salads.“

“This is BEST ice cream place we have ever been too! The fact that all the ice cream and cones are gluten free, seed oil free, homemade and high quality sourcing won me over AND it’s the first time I’ve enjoyed ice cream without a bellyache. Also, the serving is very generous. It’s worth every penny!“

“Great restaurant! We had lunch here after walking around the park and rainbow row, conveniently located. The grilled salmon was absolutely delicious and the gazpacho was refreshing and tasty. The tacos were just okay, they were the best but they good for lunch. Mahi was the best, tuna is a seared tuna btw and the shrimp was just okay and fried. “This is a down home funky southern restaurant serving primarily oysters and fried chicken in a converted garage. So for that reason they get 5 stars. The food was good, the roasted oysters were great, beer was cold, sides were enough to share service was attentive. They don’t take reservations for party less than six so you can expect to wait if you go at prime time. It a pretty popular place.Parking: Primarily a residential neighborhood so parking can be sparse. They do have a free parking lot but it’s small. Neighborhood not the best so be aware walking at night“

“We had a ten person party on Saturday night 4/5 which is one of the busiest days of the year for Charleston. The inside was packed so we grabbed a table outside. The service was outstanding. It’s truly been a while since we’ve had service that great and we weren’t expecting it on this night. The food and drinks came out promptly and as ordered and and the waitress was wonderful. The crisp was phenomenal! The burger was very good and the toppings were very fresh. The burger was "clean" in the fact the bun stayed in tact and the burger and toppings didn't just crumble off. Our server suggested the flaming Feta cheese appetizer with apricot topping, and it was absolutely fantastic! “I finally got to try daps, I always want to try but always tend to go to my regular spots but today I really wanted a breakfast burrito so I sought out a new spot for me! I ordered online because I heard that it can get really busy and it was easy to do so, I went and picked it up at the counter. I ordered the classic breakfast burrito and it was really yummy, I will say I am more of a spicy breakfast burrito kind of person but this was savory and cheesy! They put a cheese sauce inside and it was yummy, the eggs were very fluffy and the onions and potatoes were yummy! I think if I had a hot sauce or something to put on top it would be a 10/10 for me they give a green sauce on the side but it wasn't spicy. I still loved trying this place and I think next time I'll order a breakfast sandwich. Also their drinks looked so yummy. Definitely will be back for one of those.“

I got in touch with Wes at Brown Dog Deli months ago to cater a 200 person conference and I am so glad I did!! Everyone LOVED the food and Wes was on time and delivered everything as promised! I fortunately had the chance to stop by the deli the day before my conference. I told Wes that after viewing their menu so many times online, I couldn't wait until Saturday! So, I went by (and the space itself is so cool......old metal lunchboxes hanging on the wall....old games......such nostalgia!) and ordered the Paradise Panini along with their fries. OH MY GOODNESS!!! So much food (enough for two meals, but I ate all of it at once!) and it was absolutely perfect!!! And those fries?!?! WOW!!! I'm just glad I don't know the calorie count on those! :0) I had the "Folly Beach Crunch Wrap" in my bag lunch at the conference and that was just as delicious! “The only issue was the parking. The inside is bigger than it looks from the outside. There inside and outside seating. The smoothie bowl had a different taste because of the natural ingredients. My order was incorrect, and I did not say anything because I was rushing. The staff was friendly. I would go back to try more items when I am not rushing. This place is definitely a gem.“
