We tried the honey pistachio and nutella banana. Both were good especially the banana one. When they first came out, hot and crunchy, it was literally melting in my mouth, really amazing!
Our friends told us we had to try a beavertail pastry while in Banff—though they couldn’t remember the name or location (helpful). Turns out, it’s literally called BeaverTails, a Canadian chain known for flat, deep-fried pastries shaped like a beaver tail. We planned to get two for breakfast, but after seeing the size, we shared one: the Maple Glazed with maple candy flakes. The store was quite busy, late at night, there was only one person working and he was managing a full store with ease and a smile on his face. The wait was worth his service, thank you Mallid!
