The vibe felt more “drinks and appetizers” than a full meal. We had the smoked beef humus and the cheese stick which were amazing. The smoked strip loin was delicious, the chicken pot pie on the other hand was a consistency of soggy oatmeal. Service was impeccable and friendly. IF we were to return it would be for drinks and appetizers but is highly unlikely that we will return.

First time as we decided to explore more of banff restaurants. It initially looked empty and filled up right after we sat down and they did not have enough servers for a full house. We waited 20 min to order drinks so ordered food at the same time. We had a time crunch and they did make sure our food came fast. Food was good but not worth the price tag on them and menu is a la carte. We had about 20 min left at the end to possibly order a dessert. Server got us the menu but never checked back on us till we flagged her for the bill when we had to leave. We enjoyed our experience but did not see the value of it all for the price and decided this was not a place we would try again. The duck breast tasted really good however but was indeed smaller than my description of a small plate.

We got the 14oz steak, potatoes, and the spicy chicken. Had the best service and the food tasted amazing, definitely worth the price and service, recommend the steak for anyone!

The service is good, the atmosphere is nice, and the drinks are good, but their famous pork belly was terrible, extremely dry. Another dish had a very salty sauce and was not as good as people had commented. I would not recommend it.

Usually when dining in resort towns, we tend to temper our expectation of food quality. Brazen was an exception. The tempo of the service provided by Cate, was exceptional. We did not feel rushed and she wanted to make sure we enjoyed each course. The cuisine at the restaurant was absolutely chef level in the taste quality and palate of the food. There was a variety of dishes which touched on the tastes within Canada. The food was perfectly balanced for its richness and oh yeah flavor. From the time that we walked in the door until the time we were saying goodbye, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I think we just came on an off night. We had reservations for 7pm. When we arrived, the host was scrambling around for a good 5 min , running to the other side of the restaurant to the kitchen and back to us. We were seated off to the side by the bar. Kind of felt tossed aside. Come to find out, a large tour arrived early to the restaurant which sent the staff scrambling. We had a long day of being in the parks so we would have gladly gone somewhere else if they were too busy. Took about 30 min to get our drinks bc the bar was slammed. Luckily Jordan, who was setting up tables, took out drink order and food order after I asked if they were too busy. Our food did come out right away. Maybe too fast. Our green breans were barely cooked. The congee had little flavor. The best dishes were the harissa chicken and baby back ribs.

What a fun dining experience we had at Brazen! Everything from cocktails, to the squid starter and article char dinner was amazing! Highly highly recommend the millifoglie dessert!

This was our second night in Banff and we picked Brazen based on the menu. They didn't disappoint! Both dishes were perfect. Even happier when we found out crème brûlée was on the secret desert menu :-)

It was the best meal we have had in our 10 days in Canada. Right off the bat, we ordered a Canadian wine, and Cate, our server, said if you are trying Canadian wine you should try this one . Then she brought us taste of the one we ordered and the one she suggested. She was spot on. We had the mushroom tagliatelle and the ginger beef. Both were absolutely delicious. Cate continued to offer excellent service and our overall experience was excellent.
