First time as we decided to explore more of banff restaurants. It initially looked empty and filled up right after we sat down and they did not have enough servers for a full house. We waited 20 min to order drinks so ordered food at the same time. We had a time crunch and they did make sure our food came fast. Food was good but not worth the price tag on them and menu is a la carte. We had about 20 min left at the end to possibly order a dessert. Server got us the menu but never...
The service is good, the atmosphere is nice, and the drinks are good, but their famous pork belly was terrible, extremely dry. Another dish had a very salty sauce and was not as good as people had commented. I would not recommend it.
Usually when dining in resort towns, we tend to temper our expectation of food quality. Brazen was an exception. The tempo of the service provided by Cate, was exceptional. We did not feel rushed and she wanted to make sure we enjoyed each course. The cuisine at the restaurant was absolutely chef level in the taste quality and palate of the food. There was a variety of dishes which touched on the tastes within Canada. The food was perfectly balanced for its richness and oh yeah...
