Cows is my favourite Ice-Cream. I drove from Ontario’s Niagara on the Lake’s COWS to here and yes, it was obviously a well planned trip with COWS in it. Must try, however please note that the store in Ontario has more flavours and bigger lines.
Visited the shop last Sunday. Got a double scoop in the cup, I was surprised that how much of a portion size reduced compared to before. I remember the 2 scoop portion will fit a bit over the cup, but now, it fits not even half the cup. I would not recommend this place anymore to anyone.
Cows Banff is seriously the place to be for ice cream! We had the sharks flavor and it was absolute fire—super tasty and refreshing. The vibe was buzzing with a long line, but honestly, totally worth the wait. Plus, we grabbed a cute dog toy while we were there, which was a nice bonus. Can’t wait to come back and get our ice cream fix again!
I love cows!!!!!
Delicious ice cream
love their hot chocolate ice cream
it's alright. sweet, old school ice cream. its nice, but nothing to write home about.
ICE CREAM !! AND COW MERCHANDISE!! What else could you ask for?
COWS Banff is a must-visit for ice cream lovers – their flavors are rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The only downside is the line, which can get quite long, especially during busy times. Still, it’s worth the wait for a sweet treat in Banff!
Extremely poor service from the bearded staff member. We were a group of three and walked in asking for samples. He replied “2 samples,” which I assumed meant 2 samples per person. But when the last person in our group asked for theirs, he rudely refused and said it was only 2 samples per group. That makes no sense — we had 3 people!
On top of that, he was impatient and unwilling to serve us even though it wasn’t busy at all. He purposely gave us noticeably smaller scoops compared to other customers — like kids’ scoops — yet we paid full regular price. Totally unacceptable!

Nice ice cream.
The ice cream was ok, not worth the 6 dollars for a small single scoop. It wasn't super creamy and has some icy bits like store bought (at least the flavor I got did).
Ive had so much amish-made ice cream that's hard to top, that this is not a place Id find worth going back to.
The store was cute, though.. It had a bunch of cute cow merch.
The PEI Strawberry ice cream with fresh strawberries and subtle sweetness was outstanding! The Nanaimo bar was just as the name suggests, a little underwhelming though. They have good ice creams but choose the flavours wisely.
Long wait for ice cream, but totally worth it! Cute shirts too, though the material feels thinner and the quality seems to have dipped on my recent visit
Cow's PEI Blueberry ice cream is my go-to choice whenever I visit Banff. It's not overly sweet, and the color looks natural to me!
I really enjoy the texture of the small, half-frozen, half-melted blueberries in the ice cream!
The waffle is always fresh and crunchy, I treated myself by upgrading it with chocolate and peanut rim, which was nice but not necessary. The plain waffle would have been perfectly fine on its own!
