Many good flavours of ice cream to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful. The waffle cones are very unique, really good. My only complaint is that the ice cream scoops are a bit on the small side. Overall worth a visit.

If you want the best ice-cream I would recommend going to their PEI location. At the Banff location, I ordered a double-scoop on a sugar cone: chocolate & PEI strawberry (December 2024). The total including tip was just over $8. Definitely the smallest serving of ice cream that I have ever experienced; strawberry had zero flavour; chocolate was good; sugar cone overpowered the remaining chocolate ice cream’s flavour. COWS in Eastern Canada is my favourite. For the COWS Banff Location, I will buy a tub of chocolate ice-cream next time.
COWS on the East Coast: ice cream is so rich that I need a nap. I love ice cream; after eating proper ice cream, your overall consumption will go down because you will refuse poor quality substitutes.

This is the third time we've visited Banff this year, and we always pass by here after a meal for dessert. Their souvenirs are also cute, and the designs are very witty 💖 Ordered hot chocolate and some brownie flavored ice cream. We will be back in town in December and will definitely order again.

Serving size was super small, and the employee who served us was quite curt and unfriendly. The ice cream (mooey gooey) tasted very good, but I would go somewhere else next time. All the cow merch is the only good part of the shop.
