Spent an evening here on the last night of out honeymoon.
We came here from a bad experience at another lodge. Service from the moment we sat down to the time we left was exceptional. Food was possibly the best we have ever had. Ordered room service the next morning and got the same experience. Would definitely recommend. And will definitely go back!

The food was very good, my steak was cooked perfectly and my partner's salmon was amazing. Our server was wonderful and efficient to the point where she returned to our table to refill our wine glasses while asking about our dining experience.
The Royal Canadian Lodges is generally a good hotel with very comfortable rooms but seriously let down by a very poor restaurant. They would do well to check out their closest neighbour, next door at The Fox Hotel who have got their restaurant spot on.
