Absolutely wonderful teriyaki rolls and yakisoba. Not a grain of rice or noodle left on plate. We will return.

The food is passable at best. Left most of it behind and didn’t bother with take out containers.

This is the most budget-friendly eatery we’ve found in Banff. It actually shares the kitchen with Vietnamese place next door, the same business split into Vietnamese and Japanese shops.
For the price, comfort (empty, lots of seats, can eat in peace and quiet), and hot food, we are happy with the place. Fried rice and ramen were satisfactory in taste and came in huge portions.
One of the servers (she’s usually on Vietnamese side) can be brusque at times but coming from Asia we’re used to that LOL. Just be nice and if she isn’t nice to you that’s on her 🤷🏻♀️

This might be one of the worst sushi experiences I’ve ever had — and I’ve survived gas station sushi before, so that’s saying something.
The sushi quality was… questionable. The beef teriyaki tasted like rubber, and I’m pretty sure it took a few extra spins in the microwave because the meat was darker than my future after eating it.
They gave our whole table one napkin and one plate. Mind you, you pick up the food from the counter etc. We asked for more and they looked at us like we had asked for the chef’s retirement plan.
Look — food can go wrong. People get busy. Sushi gets overcooked (somehow). But when we tried to explain the issues, we weren’t met with understanding. Instead, it felt like they were ready to fight us before the wasabi even kicked in. Apparently we “should’ve told them sooner,” but we were too busy chewing the microwave-flavoured beef. At the end, I blame myself, I shouldn’t gone in when saw no customer inside and reviews were terrible. Just sometimes cravings kick in and couldn’t resist…

Food wasn’t good at all. In a world where there are google reviews I don’t know why ended up here. It was a big mistake. Yakisoba (stir fried udon) was tasteless. So are the sushi we ordered. This place doesn’t belong in Banff

The food is very disgusting. The sushi served very cold. Please don’t dine in this restaurant.

Sushi was inexplicably slathered in mayo and california roll came without avocado. Bento boxes tasted as if they were microwaved. Not only was the service unwelcoming, but 15% gratuity was automatically added for our party of 4.

Food is good , but worst service
The sushi rolls unfortunately fell short of expectations. They contained a lot more rice than filling, which threw off the balance of flavors, and the preparation didn’t seem quite right. The bento box also had a disproportionate amount of rice compared to the meat, which made the meal feel unbalanced overall. I was hoping for better texture, presentation, and portion balance.

Food wasnt the best. I ordered pork belly ramen, the pork belly was the only thing that tasted something. The soup was so watery and bland. We also ordered 3 chicken teriyaki bowl and 2 beef bowl. They also said it was subpar. 😐 The place was not busy at all at Saturday 12:30pm. Not going back here. Im sorry. Its just that the ramen should have a tasty soup but this is just water and sesame seeds.

Extremely slow service. Food is good but not worth the wait especially as you’re in Banff for a vacation. If you wanna waste 30-40 mins while you’re on a vacation just for Ramen then go here.

Food is good but every time I order over the phone, the person who takes orders couldn't understand what I'm saying. I try to speak as slowly and clearly as I can but still no good. Their staff are lovely but this is getting really annoying.
