“We visited Moonga Sashimi for my birthday, and the entire experience was outstanding. The staff and the chefs were incredibly kind, sweet, and helpful throughout the night.

As for the food, I had the best udon soup I’ve ever tasted in Alberta and the sushi platter was absolutely perfect. Even some of our friends who were skeptical about sushi loved it and said they can't wait to go back and have it again!

If I had to give one tiny piece of feedback, I felt the salmon sashimi could have been sliced just a little bit thinner and had a touch more salt and could be fresher, but it was still delicious.

Overall, everything was amazing. Thank you to the team for making my birthday so special. We will definitely be back!“

“Absolutely loved Tokyo Express! The food was fresh, flavourful, and prepared perfectly. Everything tasted high quality, the portions were great, and the service was friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about the food they serve and the customer experience. Definitely one of the better spots in Edmonton if you’re craving Japanese food. I’ll 100% be coming back and would highly recommend checking them out!“

“In the 1990s, Wasabi used to be in a mall close by Whyte Ave. I think they moved to the current place around Year 2000. I haven't been back to Edmonton for 24 years, but the food is still as tasty as before. Sashimi is very fresh with natural sweetness. Sushi rice got the good texture. Tempura was so well made my Mom told us right away! Fried Salmon was good and juicy! I saw the master chef and his wife later. Chef was so busy running around, so I chat with his wife and let her know how much I miss Wasabi and how good the food was. BTW, it's better to do reservation ahead of time. Enjoy!!“

“You live life and you pass many. Every now and then you discover a hidden gem, if you are lucky. This one is definitely is a hidden gem.
The food was actually fresh and extremely delicious to my surprise. The prices... I still can't believe it... were unbelievable. The place has an extremely warm spirit and positive energy. Family run and it shows.

“I've been a Mikado customer and enthusiast since the owner (David) was a sushi chef at the original location back in the early 1980s. The fact that I (now 'we') continue to be clients of this fine establishment for over four decades pretty much illustrates how highly we regard this group of restaurants. 5.5 stars out of 5!!!“

“Woojin is absolutely phenomenal!!! Her sushi is unbeatable in town. We recently tried tenkuu here in leduc as its rated so highly in Canada and Woojins sushi at bento inside coop is a million times better !!! And shes so sweet and generous. “I always do mobile orders. They prepare it really quickly and it’s ready for me before I arrive.

I only go here a few times for a quick meal during work hours or a food takeout for when I get home.

Today, they remembered who I am and wrote a note on my order as well.
It’s a small thing but it really made my day! It makes me feel special! They are always so nice and lovely when I get food here!
