“Best sushi in Edmonton!!!!! I am fighting the urge to gatekeep this place but truly want this business to succeed because they deserve it. I ate the butterfish oshi and it felt like a transformative experience. First you taste the smokiness of the charred butterfish, then the sweetness of the onion sauce, and then the meatiness of the fish….. all in like 4 seconds. Great atmosphere, don’t be deterred by walking through the ATB—-you won’t regret it.“

“Absolute perfection, it’s hard to say much more. We are avid sushi enthusiasts and we literally both said it feels like eating in Japan again. The quality of every ingredient is divine down to the correct acidity/temp and rice moisture level. I didn’t know sashimi could be this rich and flavourful.

We have been to so many sushi locations across Edmonton as well and seriously giving up hope until we visited this place.

Every dollar is worth it here. Amazing job to the staff :)“

“I've been a Mikado customer and enthusiast since the owner (David) was a sushi chef at the original location back in the early 1980s. The fact that I (now 'we') continue to be clients of this fine establishment for over four decades pretty much illustrates how highly we regard this group of restaurants. 5.5 stars out of 5!!!“

The food was actually fresh and extremely delicious to my surprise. The prices... I still can't believe it... were unbelievable. The place has an extremely warm spirit and positive energy. Family run and it shows.

“Woojin is absolutely phenomenal!!! Her sushi is unbeatable in town. We recently tried tenkuu here in leduc as its rated so highly in Canada and Woojins sushi at bento inside coop is a million times better !!! And shes so sweet and generous. Will go above and beyond to get you exactly what you want plus more !!!“

“I always do mobile orders. They prepare it really quickly and it’s ready for me before I arrive.

I only go here a few times for a quick meal during work hours or a food takeout for when I get home.

Today, they remembered who I am and wrote a note on my order as well.
It’s a small thing but it really made my day! It makes me feel special! They are always so nice and lovely when I get food here!
