“Always a wonderful experience. Went just after they opened and ordered two ramen bowls and some spring rolls. The gentleman working was very kind and even went out of his way for some things. The food was delicious and excellent service. Will always come back here !“

“As far as I can remember, during my childhood I always come to the mall and enjoy seeing these folks cook. I could not have there food due by the fact I was small. But now grown up, I get to try there food and it was delicious. Each time I come back here, I always enjoy the chitty chats. Get to see the old man who has been there since maybe the 90s is still there and kicking to this day. Always put a smile on the costumers and on his face as well. Happy to see folks approve of the cooking, and giving memories forever and ever. Bottom line, its great to come and enjoy the food and how well they cook up the meals. I for one am still happy to see this place is still there, keeping some how the magic of Parkland mall alive for as long as they can. I cannot wait to be back to enjoy there food and there company once again ^^“

“It was the best ive had in my life I went with my god father and he has had a lot of sushi in his life and he said it was the best he's had as well we had 2 orders of gyoza their tofu and it was the best the broth was so tasty with many delicious veggies we had 2 salmon nigri 2 tuna nigri, sunshine roll, dragon eye roll with spicy mayo instead of normal mayo. And when we left we ordered another order of gyoza to go bevause its sooo good.“

Their chirashidon is absolutely amazing — super fresh, generous portions, and honestly reminds me of Korean chirashi-don with gochujang, which I loved. The bowl is very big and filling, definitely worth the price.

What really stands out is the warm, friendly service. It feels like a true family-run business, and you can really sense the care they put into the food and customers.

If you’re in Red Deer and craving fresh Japanese-style rice bowls or sushi, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended!“

“We had an excellent experience at Shisho. The food was outstanding, and the sashimi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and some of the best we've had. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out.

“We ordered 3 pizzas tonight, and thought they took a little longer than expected, the flavour and service were incredible. The place was hopping when we were ordering, so I was not surprised, or disappointed by the added wait, it is beautiful to see such a hard working staff accommodate such a crowd. There were two ladies who were the shining stars, attentive to every need, and a couple other things we didn’t even know we needed! Will certainly be coming back, 5/5, 10/10, love what this place has become for Lacombe.“
