“My sister, friends, and I were travelling and stopped in Brooks for supper. We didn't want to eat at a chain, so after a Google search found this little gem. Upon entering we noticed the fun metal wall signs. Once seated, our server promptly brought us menus which offered a great variety of food choices. I chose chicken tikka masala medium hot which was very flavourful. The portion was large enough for a second meal. The others ordered Thai chicken wraps and butter chicken wraps with crisp tortillas. Our server accommodated the request to have the jalapenos on the side. My sister enjoyed a beer on tap from a local brewery, Piston Broke. It is nice to see local businesses supporting one another. During the meal our server was very attentive and friendly, taking time to talk with us. The owner also came by to see how our food was. We had a great meal and friendly service. So glad we chose to eat here.”

“I recently visited bar Burrito. The burrito was juicy and flavorful, with a perfect combination of all sorts of vegetables-to-meat ratio. The churros were crispy, and tasteful. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. Overall, a solid meal.”

“Possibly the best brewery I've ever been to. I only come to Brooks for work, but this is my favourite place in town. Staff are great, food and drinks are delicious, the community events are a blast!”

Dietary restrictions: Explained the meal to me and let me use the washroom. I have never had hoat before. Other businesses in that strip mall do not allow shoppers to use their washrooms. We won't be returning to Workwear. VERY Kind people at this place trying to make a go of it.”

“The owner is friendly and the food is fantastic!! The only reason I rated the atmosphere slightly lower is because they're currently upgrading, and I look forward to seeing how things change. The menu is small but it makes it easy to pick what to eat. Chicken stew and beef stew with rice and potatoes (as pictured) were incredible and filling. The tea is a great way to finish off dinner.”

“I Luv my bacon and eggs, PDs. . . .home made Bread / Toast, real Potato hash browns . . . Come On, coffee is Great too comes with a size of coffee mug . . . . Jug, almost need 2 hands to lift . Store Hours , be nice if Brooks JBS Rec Centre was open 24 hrs a day, a 4.9 rating might be a little Low . If you are not on your way there, you are making a Mistake . Even if PDs is Closed .”

“I've dined here plenty of times for buffet. Great service great food. Tonight we ordered delivery for our daughter's birthday. They missed an item of our order which and I checked our receipt to make sure it was on there and it was. I wasn't going to let go cause we all know Chinese food ain't cheap. They promptly made the missed order and delivered. The lady was so kind when ordering, delivering and with my phone call of missed item and again delivering. Great service, great food.”

“Part of a large group (~20 people) that have met for supper twice in the past couple of months. We needed to ensure quick service to accommodate our schedule and the manager, Rylee has been excellent to work with to ensure our needs were met. She arranged for us to pre-order meals a head of time which ensured our meals came out quickly from the kitchen. We were very impressed with the speed of service, the quality of food and the friendly service we received. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their experience at Gus’s. Staff have been excellent! Thank you Rylee - you have been amazing to work with and we appreciate your personal involvement in ensuring a great experience. Highly recommend Gus’s and we will definitely be returning customers.”
