Tacos and drinks were delicious and good value. I highly recommend this for a casual outing with friends.
We've eaten here before and the food was really good but this time the food was incredibly salty and the tortilla soup was like a bowl of mush. Service was good though!
Happy hour half price tacos great value. Tried some different margaritas, very interesting flavour combos. Good music but a little bit loud.
Super loud music, food is good and a reasonable price. This was my go to for cheap eats but I feel like we were ripped off a little with drinks. Server offered us doubles and we said yes without realizing that doubles at blanco are 3oz and $28! Unlike any other place on Earth where a double is 2oz. We were shocked to see our bill come to around $170 for two ‘double' drinks, two mains and a side. When we bought this up to the sever (who could have explained that a double is that much when she offered it, and that is actually 3oz) said they do it different here and that's how it is, then have the gall to say it's actually reasonable. Felt like a bit of a scam tbh so won't be going back.
Great happy hour

Food was excellent. The staff were even better
Food and service was good, not great though, as I had hoped. The shrimp appetizer was yummy, but the fish tacos were very bland. Without the cilantro it would have had no flavour at all. (If you want a great fish taco, go to Local instead) Shrimp tacos were nice. Unfortunately what ruined the experience the most was the difficulty of finding any parking in the area. It took me 15+ min of circling to finally see someone leave. And it took my friend over 50 minutes to finally get a spot. We almost called it off because of that. Not the restaurants fault, but definitely makes us think twice before coming to Kensington for an evening.

Food was fine and service was good but it was much too loud. We had to listen to loud music and conversations that were shouted because of the loud music. It would have been easier to have a conversation at our own table if we'd been seated outside on the street. We won't be going back anytime soon.
I’m disappointed to be writing this, as this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, the last few visits over the past couple of months have been increasingly disappointing, with this most recent experience being the worst yet.
We waited over 40 minutes before ultimately giving up and leaving without ever being served. After being seated by the hostess, we waited for over 20 minutes before I politely asked if someone could check on our table. Another 30 minutes went by with no service whatsoever.
We ended up going next door to Hayden Block, where we had drinks and food served quickly and even then, we never saw a server walk by our original table.
I have a background in the service industry, so I completely understand when things get busy, but the restaurant didn’t seem particularly crowded. It’s really disappointing to see the service decline so much at a place that used to be a favourite.

Wow just stopped for a quick drink, but they have really revitalized the patio! Looks great, lively vibe and great service.
The food was delicious and wait staff delightful. The music, though, was so loud that we could barely hear each other. When we asked if it could be turned down a bit, we were told that "head office" would call them and complain if they turned it down . Sounded dubious to us.
Glad we had made a reservation as this place was pretty busy. Service was great and food was quick and good value for the amount of food. Margaritas were very good as well as the non alcoholic raspberry jalapeño one. It was loud so a bit hard to chat and our table was near the bathroom so a lot of traffic but we still enjoyed our visit.
Absolutely the BEST place in Kensington. Management and staff always go above for every guest. Abraham thank you again for the great experience 🌟

We had a wonderful meal! We had the classic burrito and the fajitas which were all delicious. The tortilla soup and the black bean and corn salsa were excellent side dishes. Kayla was a very friendly server and was always available when we had a question or request. 😀
