“We came by for breakfast. When we walked in we were greeted by the friendly ladies working and they had decent sized portions. Food was fresh and hot and it was a relaxed comfortable home vibe for us. The bacon was delicious as were the gluten free options which they let me know which ones were. Eggs were made perfect and the service again was great. Will come back.“

“Awesome spot to get amazing gluten free / gluten friendly pancakes and waffles. Our waitress was great at listing and knowing what items I could have as a celiac and to limit any possible cross contamination. I really appreciated her diligence. Gluten free toast was actually delicious with their house made jam.

Call to check the waitlist though, for some reason the online thing didn't work for us. It said there was no waitlist and that was in fact wrong. Still worth the wait though.“

“Yikes. I witnessed the so-called “altercation” that triggered this sudden rush of one-star reviews. Every single one was posted within minutes, all from the same group. The coordination is inpressive; if it weren’t so blatant. Same amount of hearts, same cadence in writing.. eek.

I have no connection to the hostess, but watching a table of young women berate someone who couldn't accomodate your large group promptly was genuinely uncomfortable. The rest of the people in the restaurant were trying to eat while you performed your outrage for the room. There’s a difference between disappointment and spectacle, and you chose the latter. Every glance in that room was awkward. Sincerely. For people who can afford brunch, you were humiliating to spectate. I was attempting to hold a minor coffee chat conference with a mentee, and I couldn't even complete the onboarding because of the event that was ongoing.

As for the restaurant itself, the food was fine. Slightly under-seasoned, a touch overpriced, but otherwise unremarkable. Our morning would’ve been decently pleasant if not for the sideshow. If you’re genuinely curious about this place, go see for yourself. Form your own opinion based on experience, not a flurry of identical reviews from accounts that will likely never post again. I won't be returning, but not to the fault of the restaurant.“

“Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! I rarely eat out because, with Celiacs, I usually can only find a few things I can eat and have to pay extra for GF substitutes, or I need to eat at some pretentious hippy place that only serves quinoa and avocados (no offense to those who enjoy such things). It is so nice to be able to go to a classic diner with gluten free everything with no extra charges! Even the waffles and perogies are gluten free and oh-so-good! There was only one item on the menu that I could eat! If you know the Celiac struggle, you know why this place made me so happy.“

“It’s a great spot for good honest food. Great breakfasts all day. Everything from your basic eggs and bacon with 2 sides to a Western Omelette. If your there later in the day they make a good burger. Great steak sandwich. For me a Good spot to start your day. There was a time 30 years ago when I went to the one on 14 street every weekday morning for breakfast on my way to work.“

“I was told the food here is amazing and that is 100% the truth. There was a very nice buffet set out but we went to the menu. I had the banana bread French toast while my friend had the salmon eggs Benedict. We shared our orders and both dishes were delicious! Thank you Chef Ricky.Our server Michael made for an experience rather than just a meal. He shared select stories from the past 30 years he's worked there. My favorite was the description of the world-renowned restaurant the Westin once hosted. Some guests would fly in just for the meal.My favorite part of the whole experience was Chef Shuvie. Despite being busy, he came out and chatted with us and made sure we were treated well. It was his recommendation that brought us there.Parking is an issue for outside guests as you cannot access the Westin parking lot without a code, but thankfully the Jamieson building is right next store and accessing the restaurant was very easy.I would definitely recommend this place.“

“We have been going to Nellies for over 10 years now. It is a Calgary staple in the all day breakfast scene! The new owner is the previous chef as Jenny sold it over a year ago. French toast there is some of the best in the city. And the bacon, real good. The service a friendly quick and just downright excellent.“

“I've been to this location a couple of times and it's always been great! It can get very busy and loud (which is totally understandable) but the service is always friendly and fast regardless. The food is top notch! It's a little expensive, but honestly, it's totally worth it for their hollandaise sauce! This is a great place for a breakfast/brunch/lunch with family and/or friends.

Parking: During peak hours it is very busy and it can be difficult to find parking in the main lot. There are lots on the back side of the restaurant which are about a 1-3 minute walk from the front door.

Kid-friendliness: They offer crayons and paper to draw on!“

“The bagel on the BELT was the best I’ve ever had. The BELT tasted excellent!
Their machine to pay by card was very frustrating, asking for tips. Timed out and had to redo it. They need a different system. It would take too much time in a hurry at the airport. Especially if there was a line up. The staff had to direct each person as they are preparing their item. I saw it each time a customer wanted to pay. Annoying in a fast paced setting by an airline gate.“
