Been going to Nellie’s for years and usually order the breakfast sandwich but my last visit, I opted to try the Eggs Benny. I had brought a friend who has never been there and she never complained but didn’t finish hers either. My food was terrible. Bacon was so “crisp” you couldn’t eat it (almost burnt) and it definitely had been cooked hours before and then reheated. It was still cold. We are regulars here and they treat us so well. They know what we drink and they keep their staff so that says a lot.
Food is good here. The service is very slow but it was personable. The atmosphere looks like a diner.
