“koi has been my goat for years! i used to get their white peach oolong tea all the time. it’s perfectly sweet for someone who does not like super sweet drinks. would recommend the golden milk tea too - the pearls are always perfectly chewy.“

“I recently tried Kungfu Tea and was blown away by how amazing everything tasted! I ordered the Cheese Foam Matcha and Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea, and both drinks were absolutely exceptional. The matcha had a rich, earthy flavor that paired perfectly with the creamy cheese foam on top — not too sweet, just perfectly balanced. The brown sugar milk tea was silky and fragrant, with pearls that were soft and chewy in all the right ways. What really impressed me was how well-balanced the sweetness was — rich and flavorful, but never overwhelming.

I also tried their waffle, and wow — it was light, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, with just the right hint of sweetness.

“this is my favorite bubble tea! I usually get the fresh strawberry slush, which tastes SO GOOD! I recommend this store to everyone! The only thing that could be better is the cup size! As a big foodie, I tend to like the most in something. So maybe the staff could add sizes to the drinks 😀 in conclusion it's a really good bubble tea place !“

“although it was quite busy as soon as this shop opened, we knew that the staff was trying their best/busting out orders at a consistent quality as good as they can!!

since there’s a self serve kiosk, me and my friend took advantage of that and paid there. although, the drinks are a bit on the pricey side— most boba is sold at that rate now.

your staff is amazing! I don’t know her name, but as me and my friend were getting a tad bit impatient, she gave us our drinks in a timely manner and sincerely apologized for the long wait; and she also gave us a stamp card herself!

nonetheless, the buttercake Thai milk tea was absolutely delish! 😋 it’s certainly a special type of drink, and dare I say, better than most of the other boba shops around the block + all over chinatown.

please keep doing what you do! don’t let any of this negative reviews bring you down! :DD

“Small hole in the wall shop that I love visiting after work! The drinks are a bargain compared to anything elsewhere. The drinks are made fresh in front of you by very friendly staff. The hong kong milk tea was amazing and actually tasted like tea unlike many milk teas I have had from chains in Calgary. The slushes are great too! The store itself is very small with no seating, but it is great if you’re grabbing a drink and going! Would overall recommend!“

“We truly love this little gem of a shop in the heart of Chinatown. Their fresh fruit drinks are legit and refreshing especially on a warm day. Mango and honeydew is our favourite combo. For the cold days their hot tangerine black tea will warm you and soothe you especially if you’re under the weather. The staff is wonderful and decor is heartfelt. “Whoever was working today - was a younger employee - absolutely got slammed with teens when opening, and handled it like a rockstar. All drinks were put out efficiently and looked great. As someone who used to bartend, I was very impressed with the multi-tasking. Deserves a raise.“

“Very professional and respectful staff. The place is very clean and you can find small tables there with chairs for you to enjoy your teas there. There is a lot of variety of drinks which are really delicious. Highly recommended place if you really want to enjoy traditional Taiwanese bubble tea.“

“We tried the Brown sugar pearl latte and Aiyu jelly lemon green tea (half sugar). They were both awesome!! You can really taste the brown sugar flavour and the pearls were incredibly soft. Freshly boiled pearls were still warm in the cup. If you’re lactose intolerant, YiFang uses Natrel brand filtered milk which is lactose free! Aiyu jelly was deliciously smooth and if you like lemon, you will love this lemon green tea! Half sugar was the right amount of sweetness but still tart and tangy. We will be returning for sure.“

Very patient and introduces the drinks for me, and love this place— there are free board games! The girl gives a sweet smile and say thanks in my language, it’s so sweet isn’t it? “The staff are really patient and friendly. I have ordered a lot of different kinds of tea and they're all good. I like how the straws are compostable but as strong as plastic straws. They even read the ingredients in pearls and let me read them to check if there is gelatin, which most don't have. I'm a vegetarian. I am pretty sure I saw something about how they also have dairy free replacements/options for those who don't eat diary.“

Good food and unlike sushi conveyor belt where you wait and wait as the dishes go around until you get what you like; here everything is made to order and sent to your table by train. “Have been seeing this around the Northland Winners, was always curious. Specially because the name is Cha not Chai. We grew up calling tea as Cha. And this led me to finally go in with my boys. Very clean space with a lot of random decorative items. The phone booth corner is cute. Nice sitting area. My boys had boba tea and Taro boba slush . I was interested trying their dessert bowl. Double Taro Bowl is what I tried. It looked very cool and colourful. The portion was big. I really loved it but wished they had options to add extra sweeteners as a choice. I don’t like things too Sweet but this was almost no sweet to mild. Yet, I enjoyed tye fresh mango and it’s natural sweetness. I say give these dessert bowls a try even for the sake of trying something new! They also serve some snacks such as gyoza, wonton soup and waffles.“

“Got the half&half k-dogs with sugar and ketchup, SO. GOOD. First time trying these type of corndog and the standard is set super high lol. Sugar topping takes it to the next level (might have to ask for a little extra next time). It did take 10+ minutes but totally worth it since they were as fresh as can be. Grabbed a mango drink from the JusFruit section of the shared counter and that was amazing as well.

I grabbed some other dishes for takeout because I haven’t gotten around to trying much Korean food before. Fried sweet potato is very good, but didn’t love any of the kimbap varieties except the fried shrimp — that’s the only one with sauce and I feel like it’s a bit dry otherwise, tuna didn’t have much flavour. Takoyaki is way better than the premade ones at T&T (actually cooked through and not doughy), twigim looks good but overpriced so that’s the one thing I didn’t try that caught my eye.
