“I recently tried Kungfu Tea and was blown away by how amazing everything tasted! I ordered the Cheese Foam Matcha and Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea, and both drinks were absolutely exceptional. The matcha had a rich, earthy flavor that paired perfectly with the creamy cheese foam on top — not too sweet, just perfectly balanced. The brown sugar milk tea was silky and fragrant, with pearls that were soft and chewy in all the right ways. What really impressed me was how well-balanced the sweetness was — rich and flavorful, but never overwhelming.

I also tried their waffle, and wow — it was light, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, with just the right hint of sweetness.

“Small hole in the wall shop that I love visiting after work! The drinks are a bargain compared to anything elsewhere. The drinks are made fresh in front of you by very friendly staff. The hong kong milk tea was amazing and actually tasted like tea unlike many milk teas I have had from chains in Calgary. The slushes are great too! The store itself is very small with no seating, but it is great if you’re grabbing a drink and going! Would overall recommend!“

“We truly love this little gem of a shop in the heart of Chinatown. Their fresh fruit drinks are legit and refreshing especially on a warm day. Mango and honeydew is our favourite combo. For the cold days their hot tangerine black tea will warm you and soothe you especially if you’re under the weather. The staff is wonderful and decor is heartfelt. “I got the mango treat-ment boba, and the combination of mango jam and vanilla ice cream was really yummy! A lot of bubble tea shops have similar drinks, but the drinks on the menu here are so unique. I want to go back and try all of them! I love that they sell snacks and desserts as well. The rice cakes in the tteobokki were slightly undercooked for my taste, but it was still very good. It was savoury and cheesy, and not spicy at all.“

“Very professional and respectful staff. The place is very clean and you can find small tables there with chairs for you to enjoy your teas there. There is a lot of variety of drinks which are really delicious. Highly recommended place if you really want to enjoy traditional Taiwanese bubble tea.“

“We tried the Brown sugar pearl latte and Aiyu jelly lemon green tea (half sugar). They were both awesome!! You can really taste the brown sugar flavour and the pearls were incredibly soft. Freshly boiled pearls were still warm in the cup. If you’re lactose intolerant, YiFang uses Natrel brand filtered milk which is lactose free! Aiyu jelly was deliciously smooth and if you like lemon, you will love this lemon green tea! Half sugar was the right amount of sweetness but still tart and tangy. We will be returning for sure.“

Very patient and introduces the drinks for me, and love this place— there are free board games! The girl gives a sweet smile and say thanks in my language, it’s so sweet isn’t it? “The staff are really patient and friendly. I have ordered a lot of different kinds of tea and they're all good. I like how the straws are compostable but as strong as plastic straws. They even read the ingredients in pearls and let me read them to check if there is gelatin, which most don't have. I'm a vegetarian. I am pretty sure I saw something about how they also have dairy free replacements/options for those who don't eat diary.“

Good food and unlike sushi conveyor belt where you wait and wait as the dishes go around until you get what you like; here everything is made to order and sent to your table by train. “Dropped by Cha House yesterday and had a really nice experience. The shop was quiet and cozy, and the staff were surprisingly attentive in a very genuine way. There's a big pink statue by the entrance that I want to take picture with my friends. One of the employees kindly reminded my friend not to pull on it, explaining that the piece could fall and actually hurt someone. I appreciated that they were looking out for customer safety without making a big deal out of it. Drinks were great(ordered roasted rice milk tea as usual), and the space felt clean and welcoming.

“Got the half&half k-dogs with sugar and ketchup, SO. GOOD. First time trying these type of corndog and the standard is set super high lol. Sugar topping takes it to the next level (might have to ask for a little extra next time). It did take 10+ minutes but totally worth it since they were as fresh as can be. Grabbed a mango drink from the JusFruit section of the shared counter and that was amazing as well.

I grabbed some other dishes for takeout because I haven’t gotten around to trying much Korean food before. Fried sweet potato is very good, but didn’t love any of the kimbap varieties except the fried shrimp — that’s the only one with sauce and I feel like it’s a bit dry otherwise, tuna didn’t have much flavour. Takoyaki is way better than the premade ones at T&T (actually cooked through and not doughy), twigim looks good but overpriced so that’s the one thing I didn’t try that caught my eye.

“The night we ate here the restaurant was super busy but the lone server was running and getting it done. We didn't have to wait long for our food and the pho came with bean sprouts, lime and Thai basil. I thought the pho was OK a little low on flavour and not hot. The spring rolls were very good and came with a dressed up dipping sauce not just plain fish sauce. Overall it was an ok dinner.“

“Quick and friendly service in a clean space! The pearls are a little smaller in diameter than some other tea houses; I personally prefer this because they are wonderfully cooked right through to the center. I do wish they had lore black tea based options.“
