Courtyard Reviews
This was what was open on labour day (i chose a different restaurant that wasn't open, and already paid parking) I will say this was pretty good. I enjoyed the food, it's simple but good pub grub, but one sticking point was they needed more servers. It wasn't bumpin' but it also wasn't dead, the poor girl working there needed some help, she was both the server and the bar tender for 20+ patrons. The garlic cheese knots were amazing. The gravy hits right.

Courtyard offers a lively atmosphere, although the music can be loud. The menu features good wings, with an extensive selection of dry rubs and wet sauces—honey & ghost pepper, honey & dill, cajun, maple bacon, and lemon pepper. The wings are consistently fried to perfection—crispy outside and juicy inside. Enjoy $6 wings on Tuesdays and happy hour specials. The poutine lacks cheese curds, but the happy hour burger with salad is a great deal—two juicy beef patties, fresh vegetables, and a splash of mayo. Fish and chips are available, served with shoestring fries. Service is friendly and attentive, with quick corrections if orders are misunderstood. It is a popular spot for casual bar food, especially during hockey playoff season. The ambiance is lively, and the atmosphere is appreciated by many. The Thursday rib night offers similar seasoning options. The patio provides a welcoming space, with friendly staff setting up umbrellas and offering water for pets. The food, such as the mushroom burger, is highly praised, and fries are plentiful and tasty. The place is known for its good drinks, regular clientele, and a relaxed environment to enjoy a game or casual meal. While some find the service inconsistent, many find it a great spot to pop in for a beverage and a bite to eat if not feeling like cooking. Overall, Courtyard remains a solid choice for finger foods and satisfying meals in a fun, energetic setting.
