Had breakfast at Diner Deluxe this morning because the food is always excellent. For reasons unknown to us the meal was “on the house”. A pleasant surprise on a Saturday morning.
Our family from across the US gathered for a week in the beautiful Canadian Rockies and started with a night in Calgary. A server at Ship & Anchor said that Diner Deluxe is her favorite breakfast place so we thought we'd give it a go. Super easy to find, and, though it is not a large restaurant, we were able to be seated quickly - all 14 of us! As I travel a lot for work, Diner Deluxe was a high recommendation and ever since when I'm in Calgary, this is my Breakfast home while I'm away. Known for their mazing breakfasts, anything on their menu is delicious. Staff (Paige) are exceptionally friendly and service is second to one in my opinion. Cany wait to go back!
