Fry Town Reviews
Food was great as usual , service wasnt as prompt as it usually is . I did have my mom with me who is in a wheel chair and although its great they have a separate bathroom with a ramp to it, the lock did not work on it and also the ramp to get in is very challenging and somewhat dangerous . My suggestion would be to have a more accommodating way for disabled folks to get in .
Beef tenderloin was perfect and my friends prime rib was also excellent. The twice baked potatoes were really dry and overcooked and the seasonal vegetables (carrots and 2 tiny slices of beets) were way undercooked and bordering on raw carrots.
The food was great , specially the prime rib but there is a huge lack on the service. When we got there it didn't seem to be that busy but there were no glass for juice at the bar my wife ask 3 servers at the bar for plan white sugar and they just seemed to ignore(pretending to be busy). At my table I had no forks so I had walk around the hole place until I found a server and ask for one. By this time our food was cold so we had to go and get everything again. Fry Town is a restaurant known for its delicious food and outstanding service. The lounge area is described as beautiful, fresh, and bright, while the dining room offers a cool, old tavern style with big dark chairs. The prime rib, cooked to perfection whether ordered well-done or rare, is a standout dish. The filet is also highly recommended. Recent reviews highlight a mix of experiences, with some customers noting issues with staffing, order accuracy, and the absence of a salad bar, which has now returned with soups as an add-on. Customers often praise the amazing food and ambiance, emphasizing the quality of prime rib, oysters, marrow, and escargot. One memorable visit featured a roaring fireplace and a meal of beef ribs with smoky bourbon sauce, described as a prehistoric-sized, delicious, and charred to perfection. Overall, Fry Town remains a popular destination, with the chef and ownership providing a generally well-received dining experience.
