The best Chinese food we have had in a long time great tables for groups with lazy Susan so no passing around ladies working hard good size plates
There are more food options compared to the other Great Taste Chinese Cuisine in Calgary Chinatown. The seating is more traditional compared to the other Great Taste Chinese Cuisine in Calgary Chinatown.
Portions are more generous than in other dim sum places. Small size congee will feed 3-4 people. Tasty dishes. The only place I know that has black sesame balls, which is my favourite.

Great Taste Chinese Cuisine Ltd is a popular restaurant known for its fresh and flavourful Cantonese cuisine. The dim sum menu is a standout, with highlights like the ginger chicken and wonton in spicy sauce. Customers praise the dim sum for being less oily and salty compared to other places. The Cantonese dishes are also worth trying, and the service is attentive, with staff who remember regular orders.
The restaurant can accommodate larger groups, making it a welcoming spot for families and friends. While the interior and washrooms may appear a bit dated, the lively atmosphere is part of the charm, especially when the restaurant is bustling with customers. Overall, Great Taste Chinese Cuisine Ltd is a great choice for delicious meals, including standout dishes like eggplant, chicken, and shrimp, along with excellent service.
