This place has the best jjamppong in the city if you crave for seafood noodle every once in a while like I do! Both portion size and taste is awesome. In fact a lot of times I would just share a large bowl with my friend and get another small side. 10/10 recommend for a happy belly.

Jjawang is the best place to get Korean-Chinese cuisine in Calgary. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including Jjamppong (soup) and Tangsuyuk (fried meats), which make a great meal for two or three people. The menu also features Black Bean Noodles, Kansho Shrimp, and Sweet and Sour Pork, all of which are praised for their deliciousness. Customers have enjoyed the fire roasted flavor in the Jjamppong and the tender, juicy shrimp, along with the satisfying, bold flavor of Kkanppongki. The portions are generous and well worth the price. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible with high chairs available. Many customers recommend trying their dishes in person or as takeout, noting that the black bean noodles are the best in Calgary. While the food is usually excellent, some have found that delivery may sometimes fall short of expectations, especially with Kkanppongyuk, which can vary in texture and spice. Overall, Jjawang remains a popular spot for quality Korean-Chinese food.
