Korean Village Restaurant in Calgary offers a solid dining experience with a variety of Korean dishes. The galbi ribs are a standout, tender and juicy. The seafood pancake is thick and flavorful. The LA Galbi is a family favorite, flavorful and tender. The hot pots are great and come with a ton of kimchi / sides. The BBQ is delicious and the bibimbap is to die for. The restaurant has limited parking but provides free street parking. The atmosphere is cozy with tables situated for privacy, seating is great with very large and private booths. The deep fried dumplings are SO GOOD.

The restaurant recently catered an event for 90 guests, and everything was delivered perfectly, with everyone raving about the food. It is an unexpectedly popular spot, with customers waiting 20 minutes on a random Tuesday evening to get a seat, but the wait was absolutely worth it, as the BBQ meat, banchan, and dishes are all on point.
