Great cafe with delicious espresso! Came to downtown Calgary for a work trip. This was a bit of a walk from the hotel I stayed at, but it was worth it. Had my coffee by the riverside & it was super peaceful.
I ordered coffee from Sidewalk Citizen Bakery for pickup at their designated coffee counter. After waiting with the digital buzzer, I saw two drinks come out that matched my order (an 8 oz and a 12 oz). I asked the staff if they were mine and was told no, and that it should be clear which drinks belonged to me. When I asked specifically if they were oat lattes, I was again told no.
I then went back into the bakery to pick up my bread, and a staff member walked...

Lovely historic building that is busy and yet welcoming to sit in.
Most importantly the coffee was sublime, wouldn't expect anything less from this establishment. Cappuccino that I ordered was spot on and would go back anytime I get a chance.
Would insistently recommend. Strongly.
