This place is worlds best! The cats are all happy and calm together, the rules of visiting are realistic. The staff are friendly. I bought a bunch of merchandise but was sad that some things were out of stock. I found the same thing online so I ordered it from on there.

Convenient location at the Kensington area. Tasty coffee and treats. Thematic interior. Cats are in a separate room, therefore if you are an allergic person you can enjoy your coffee watching the cats through the glass barrier. Very clean. Personal controls the place to be not overcrowded to make the cats feel comfortable and not stressed out.

Regal Cat Cafe provides a relaxing environment for cat lovers and is truly one of Calgary's hidden gems. Visitors can enjoy 30 minutes of blissful cat cuddling for $10-$12, with friendly staff creating a welcoming atmosphere. The cafe features sociable felines with fun names like Ziploc, Pleather, and Polyester, who are quickly adopted by visitors. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, with soft music and great coffee, making it the perfect place to unwind.
There are two areas: a cafe/food space with windows overlooking the cat room called “kitty kingdom,” where entry is free, and the 30-minute cat room experience costs $12 on weekdays and $14 on weekends. Guests can also enjoy refreshing beverages, including delicious iced Vietnamese coffee, which they are allowed to take into the cat room. The staff is incredibly friendly and caring, ensuring both guests and cats are comfortable. They sometimes help gather the cats with treats at the start of each session.
The cafe area is spotless, and the cat lounge is well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. Parking is available on the sides of the road, making it easy to visit alone or with others. The cafe is suitable for all ages, with kids under 10 needing an adult chaperone. Many customers appreciate how the cafe helps get cats adopted quickly and enjoy watching or petting the cats during their visit. However, some customers feel that more education on respecting the cats' boundaries could improve the experience.
