The food are fantastic, I live them very much. I will visit next weekend with my friends.

They made a lot of dishes less spicy when requested but still kept the unique and wonderful tastes.

Great authentic food, very nice, good choice

Outstanding food. After Szechuan restaurant closed in Calgary, his has become the go to to satisfy the craving for traditional Chinese -especially ma la (hot tingling taste). Excellent variety of dishes .. even Hunan salted pork which I haven’t seen in Calgary at other places.

Upon entering the restaurant, there was an unpleasant smell, and the floor had some sticky substance that clung to the soles of my shoes. The utensils had food residue and grease on them. It had been a long time since my last visit, and I ordered the same dishes I used to enjoy, but the taste was really not good—too oily and salty. It was completely different from before; the lamb was tough, and there were more side dishes than meat. The dried beef was not dry enough, and the lotus root strips were over-fried. The empty plates on the table were not cleared, leaving no space for new dishes. There was no service at all; we had to call the waiter to order tea and ice water. It was really disappointing. The lamb skewers and beef skewers were extremely spicy with no other flavors. It felt like stepping on a landmine again, and I have no hope left for this place. I can only say goodbye to it.

The best Szechuan restaurant in the city. Unfortunately, their Kung Pao chicken is 70% dried chili now (you’ll never see that many dried chili in a plate, it’s absolutely ridiculous! It’s literally like eating dried chilis as the main!! It’s also inedible. Who wants to eat 1 tiny piece of chicken with 10 pieces of dried chili???) and very little chicken and peanuts. Same for their cumin lamb. They barely give any meat now. Too bad, we probably won’t reorder. (We had been going for a few years)

BBQ is A little expensive but very good

Very delicious cuisine, it's hard to get this sort of Chinese barbeque anywhere else in Calgary. Good service, and clean atmosphere.

Food is ok but the service is not upto standard

This restaurant used to be great before Covid .. nice spicy Chinese food.. thought of trying it out again after many years .. seriously disappointed on the taste .. lots of quantity & food was spicy but lacklustre taste. I was going to order from the restaurant called seahood but saw this one pop up & thought of trying it .. bad call

I don’t give feedback on google often, but I have to say the service in this restaurant is at the next level.
The waitress was very pushy and impatient. I don’t know what she experienced, she wanted me to feel I was a trouble for her, didn’t deserve her precious time. I was worried that If I didn’t answer her questions promptly and correctly, as a punishment, I wouldn’t get my take out.

It’s different from the Yunnan food I’ve been to ???
This is basically Sichuan cuisine, right?

This is the most authentic Chinese food you can get in Calgary, flavours are banging and service is exceptional!

Would love if you guys had more beef and fish options!
