“Probably the first subway I have been to Iin a long time where all the ingredients looked fresh. I am from the US and a lot of ours are dirty and the sandwhich vegetables and meats look questionable. Staff is cleaning up around the restaurant etc. Enjoyed my sub“

“Dined in at this location the other week. I’ve never been disappointed with Subway and that is still true today, they have a great selection of meats, breads, and sauces for the price that you pay. Easy to purchase for takeout and convenient as well because there’s a ton of locations around the city. My only qualm with this location is that I attempted to use a coupon here, showed it to the lady making my sandwiches, was acknowledged, however, when it came time to make the payment, I wasn’t informed that I had to scan the coupon and so the coupon was not applied towards my meal. Regardless, the location was clean, food was delicious, and service was good aside from the earlier stated miscommunication.“

“This is honestly the best Subway location I’ve ever been to in Calgary. The store is always spotless, and the food is consistently fresh the bread is fluffy, the veggies are crisp, and everything tastes amazing every single time. They’re also very generous with their portions, which makes a huge difference in the quality of the sandwiches.

They always wrap everything with care so nothing falls apart, and their hygiene and presentation are excellent. They have mixed up a few of my online orders before, but despite that, this location still deserves a full 5 stars. The quality, freshness, and service here are unmatched.“

“I’ve been to different subways in Calgary and although all services were the same, the service at the Chinook mall was exceptional. Both staff were excellent, courteous, respectful and polite. The area was very clean as well. I would recommend this subway to anyone in the mall or close by to check it out. They will be very pleased with the service from the two staff there.“

“I don't normally eat at subway, but last night November 7 2025 at 7:45pm my friend wanted a sandwich. I was greeted, and served by the most friendly and dare I say cute staff member. Even the lady that asked me to accompany her to subway commented about how great the service was, and also how cute the lady working there is. We took our food to go, and when we were eating we both agreed that the establishment was cleaner than we expected. I believe the lone worker was responsible for those duties. I think management should consider giving her a raise, and doing what it takes to keep her on the staff. More places need great staff that gobthe extra mile as she did. It was a great experience and I recommend everyone to enjoy the service there.“

“It was very easy to order via the Subway App. Customization was very easy and no need to ask for more when that is as easy as clicking extra.

“I would like to leave a positive review for Jasleen for her outstanding service. She was working alone early Saturday morning around 1:00 a.m., and despite being very busy handling takeout orders, she still managed to serve us professionally and courteously. Her calm attitude and dedication did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciated her efforts.
That said, from a safety perspective, I don’t feel it’s ideal for Jasleen to be working by herself during such late hours. In the event of an accident or emergency, there would be no immediate assistance unless someone was actively monitoring the security cameras. I hope management can consider additional support for staff during late-night shifts.“

“My favourite sub shop. I guess I should mention my least favourite is the one in Shaughnessy although I haven’t been there for over a year, and I still don’t plan on going back. As I live close to this location, I’m glad it is my favourite. The staff are always friendly and efficient for orders. I can tell the staff take pride in what they do and it seems they care about their customers being happy. If I happen stop by when it’s not busy, they are busy cleaning - one of the cleanest locations that I know of. Friendly staff, spotless location and great food. (Out of about five that I have visited in the past). I am leaving this review because I think the staff deserve it.“

The end of her shift was nearly in sight, Jaskaran was bombarded with a long line of ravenous customers, including me. She put on a brave face and served everyone in a timely fashion with a smile. As I waited in line, I couldn't help but notice the way Jaskaran threw the subs together. She crafted each sandwich with effortless precision and finesse, achieving a peaceful state of flow as she moved around her workstation. A healthy helping of cold cuts, a plentiful amount of produce, and a drizzle of sauce—one after the other—made for a truly pristine assembly right before my eyes. The sandwich I received was what you think you’re going to get at a Subway restaurant when you see the commercial that first sparked your craving. I ate my first perfect sub, and I have Jaskaran to thank for it. She treated my instructions as requests, and in between building the sandwich of my dreams, Jaskaran got to know me. Chatting with her was so easy; there's a certain je ne sais quoi about Jaskaran. Maybe it's her kind demeanour or witty sense of humour - one cannot help but be drawn into a conversation with her. “I had an amazing experience with Subway at Market Mall! I accidentally placed the wrong order, but when I called the store, the manager was incredibly understanding and helpful. They assured me that I could come in at my convenience, and they would remake my order free of charge.

The worker looked exhausted, but she greeted us with a genuine smile, asked how our evening was going, and even chatted about our orders like it was the middle of the day! “Subway came through BIG for our event catering. We ordered lunch platters and they crafted everything super neatly and labelled it all perfectly; no guessing games at all. They kept veg and non-veg completely separate, changed gloves every time (mad respect for that hygiene), and even delivered everything separated properly to avoid any cross-contamination.

They hooked us up with all the sauces and mayo in great quantities and helped us customize the platters exactly how we wanted. Manager Purvi Ben and the whole team were absolute lifesavers. They really saved our day and made the whole thing smooth and stress-free. Huge shoutout to them!“

They rearranged the sitting arrangement, much better now but still more cramped than in other places which have more space to work with.
