Thai Express Restaurant Calgary

Meh all around. My pad Thai was generous in its portion size but underwhelming otherwise: a big, sticky and super sweet blob of noodles. And - obviously - super expensive for what it is. ($17)
Service was what you’d expect from a fast food restaurant.
Atmosphere was what you’d expect from an airport food court.

My first time have Thai Express, we all know that food is more at an airport so why settle for overpriced subway when you can get over priced Thai food.

The food is decent, not amazing but decent. It has a good taste but lacks that wow factor which is expected.

The portion must have changed as I have read previous reviews of it being half full while I did not experience that, it was filled to the brim!

I would decide get it again!

Also the staff was friendly and helpful!

The Pad Thai here is pretty good, but the price for the portion you get is outrageous. Look, it's an airport so you know you're going to pay way more than normal. But it used to be that Thai Express would give you a big portion for the high price they were charging (enough for two people).

When I was here in December 2024, I was shocked at how small the portion size is given how much they are still charging. It was basically half their to-go container. 🫤

In past years, it was about twice as much food. So clearly their management has decided to increase profits by keeping the high prices and providing half as much food. I'll order from someplace else next time.

Food tasted normally, attitude seemed abnormally. The two boys thought they are the king of the world. For a second of rolling up, I can’t even saw the eyeballs.

Oh well. The red curry was neither spicy nor flavorful. The preparation was quick. You get a box that you eat out of. Don't order the red curry, maybe other dishes are better.

Delicious pad thai and lots of gluten free options!

I had the tofu pad see ew with veg sauce and no egg. It was ready fast and the staff knew about vegan options.

I don’t know why this location has such horrible ratings. I love thai express, I was stoked to find one here because I was hungry at the airport. There isn’t one where I live so when I find one I’m all over it. After reading the reviews, i was like there is nooo way it’s that bad. I’ll take the chance.. low and behold, it was tight as always. One of the best I’ve had in a while actually. Pad Thai was Saucy, hot, good amount of meat. Imperial roll was fresh and crispy. Staff was fast and nice. I hope this bumps up the rating a little. Don’t believe the negativity. Also, my wife is gluten free and they have a ton of gf options.

Worst Thai Express I've ever had and I've been eating at Thai Express for 10 plus years. Pad Thai with chicken but hardly any chicken and no sauce. It was dry and gross. They didn't even ask spicy or medium or not which they usually do. This may have killed this place for me. Are there on Tuesday Nov 26th around 7pm.

Paid $14.50 for my sweet-sour chicken stir fry and was full for hours.

The pad see ew was very tasty, and and they had multiple gluten-free options! for an airport, that's a basically a miracle.

Dietary restrictions: Multiple gluten-free options, I believe there were vegetarian options as well.
