The Alley - University District

Service was decent enough considering I was a at busy ish hour.

The drinks although were disappointing. I got a “Deerioca Matcha Latte” with fresh milk. I had it with regular sugar and I couldn’t change the amount of ice. This drink was bitter, grainy, and not sweet. I am just so dissatisfied because why am I paying 8.25 for a drink that I could make better at home. Thank god the pearls were decent.

Please come to Alley @ the university district if you want a crappy non sweet drink of low quality.

I saw a lot of bad reviews that made me debate going or not, I decided to anyways and I did not experience anything of what the reviews said, the staff was very friendly and quick with my order, I ordered two different bubble teas and there was no problem with either, there wasn’t a long wait or a “no stock” problem, I would definitely go again.

Don't order peach oolong?!?? Tastes absolutely horrible, worse than medicine. Not a big fan

Very disappointed, I ordered a peach oolong boba tea and it was unexpectedly very bland, did not taste sweet at all even though it says regular sugar. Tastes like rainwater. I get why it’s called the alley since it tastes like it’s from a back alley

I have come here 8 different times within the past year, and they never have certain popular menu items - not once! Royal No.9 and Deerioca being some of their most popular items, should always be available.
Extremely dissatisfied with their service.

Slow service, watered down tea, stay away.

If you guys closing at 9 PM you should update your operations of hours.! I drove 30 minutes to come here guess what?! They are closed !!!!

We used to be loyal customers, but the last few visits have been disappointing. The all tiramisu milk teas were watery with ice chunks and barely any cocoa powder on top. so tasteless!
Another time, we were asked to leave 5 minutes after ordering because they were closing, even though Google showed 2 more hours. We wouldn’t have ordered if we had known.

Service was good, the cashier double checked with us regarding the texture and the contents of the drinks, so I really appreciated that. The drinks are not too sweet, which is to my liking.

Trusted Google, drove 20 minutes… and met a locked door 😭 Apparently they close at 9. The sign was updated, Google wasn’t. When was the last time anyone checked store hours on a door instead of their phone?

Amazing staff, everyone is so kind and helpful. Drinks are all made with care, and the employee Go especially took his time to make sure I got what I wanted. Best alley location in Calgary :D

Very rude staff. Unwelcoming atmosphere.I was not helped by Jiuo and Go.
