They even have deliberately placed food items on the menu that are tailored to your travel experience. Don’t have time to sit? Stop here….your meal awaits for you to take with you! “We came to Vin Room Mission for happy hour on a Monday evening to celebrate our boss’s birthday who also happens to be a sommelier and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.
From the very beginning, Amanda, our server, went above and beyond to make the night special.
Even before our reservation, she reached out personally to understand how we envisioned the evening, which was such a thoughtful touch.
When we arrived, we were warmly greeted, and to our surprise, Amanda had a beautifully arranged charcuterie board ready at our table to kick off the celebration. It was such a lovely and unexpected way to start the evening.
Throughout the night, we explored several wines from their impressive selection, and every recommendation hit the mark.
The wine menu is clearly curated with care, offering a wide variety of options for every palate.
The atmosphere was cozy, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed celebration. The food was fantastic.
The duck wings were a standout and a first for many of us, and they did not disappoint!
All in all, it was an incredible experience thanks to Amanda’s attention to detail, the warm ambiance, and the amazing food and wine.
We’ll definitely be back and recommending Vin Room Mission to friends and colleagues!“

“The food was delicious! It was my first time going and I would definitely go back. It's not a very big restaurant but they do have a patio that we ate out on. I had the California Classic hamburger and shared an order of the fries. Both the regular fries and the coney fries are good and perfect size for sharing. I also appreciated the wet wipe they serve with their burgers.“

We quickly were led to a table inside, where after a short perusal of the breakfast menu we ordered.

I had the Mushroom Benny, with a side of chicken sausage. As you can see from the photo is was very well presented, and it also tasted great. The only difficulty I had was the knife I was given would not cut the English Muffin the Benny was severed on (I don't know if it was the knife or the Muffin, but the knife made quick work of the sausage so I'm leaning towards the Muffin) so it was way messier to eat than it had to be.

“This place is amazing. We first had aperitivo, then pasta and finally dessert. Everything was simply amazing. Aperitivo we had arancini and meatballs with Aperol Spritz, great price on the happy hour menu and wow that tomato sauce was amazing!! The pasta fileja was so delicious, we ordered one boscaiola and one with nduja, both excellent!!! Dessert - tiramisu and bombolone gelato, paired with the suggested cocktails, another success! “Great atmosphere and great service. We stumbled at this wine bar looking for another place, but glad we went inside. Small cozy spot that nice and quiet to end the night with a glass of wine. The server explained the wines by glass to us and gave us a few options. Because we got there late, the kitchen was closed but they had desserts available. We got the chocolate fondant (lava cake) and it was delicious.“

It was pay what you want for the coffee day. I cannot rave more about this place. The staff are always cheerful and welcoming. The owner, Andy is so supportive of myself and other local Musicians. There is an amazing Jazz Jam here on Sundays from approximately 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. (Don’t quote me on the time though.) This place is awesome!“

“Very nice selection of drinks focused on Japanese whiskey, but with a nice variety of other drinks. The Negroni was very tasy. Service is excellent, atmosphere is great, record player on the bar providing a nice back drop.

“Quality food but comes at a premium but knew that going in. From appetizers to som Alberta Wagyu steak it was a great experience. Friendly staff - very attentive! Was noisy due to Christmas large tables but not annoyingly loud. Will I go back? Indeed but it will be a once a year treat at $350 for two people - 1 drink each, 2 shared appies and Alberta Wagyu fillet and NY Strip. All was perfectly prepared and very tasty indeed.“

Drove hrs to try this place after reading so many good things on a Calgary Food Group. Was greeted and served by Greg!!! Oysters were tender and perfect...just what I needed. I will definitely be back!!!

“This coffee shop delivers a solid experience with good coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, and a well-designed interior. My mocha was rich and enjoyable, while my partner’s latte and cinnamon roll were equally satisfying. The space has a relaxed vibe, attracting many people working on laptops, making it a great spot for productivity. Prices are slightly above average, but the quality justifies it. One thing to note is that the café allows dogs inside—a nice touch for pet owners but unexpected for those with allergies, like my partner. While there’s nothing particularly standout, it’s a reliable and comfortable spot for a quality coffee break. A solid 4-star experience.“
