“We hosted our wedding reception at Vin Room Mission in September, if you're planning a similar event, I highly recommend giving these folks a serious look.

From start to finish, our reception was a total success. Guests are still reaching out to tell us how incredible the space and food were.

We chose passed canapés to start, a buffet for the main course, and light bites for dessert. Some crowd favorites included the duck wings, crab cakes, bacon-wrapped sausages, tempura sweet potatoes, risotto, prime rib, swan cream puffs, and the chocolate mousse spoons.

The wine and cocktail bar at Vin Room was an obvious standout as well. I frequently saw our guests being captivated by the bartenders' impressive flourishes and shaker routines.

Additionally guests had access to the resident sommelier for wine recommendations which further elevated the experience.
The service was impeccable-5 stars all the way. I never saw an empty glass or plate the entire night.

A special thank you goes to Mackenzie, Pete, Edwin, Sheri, Sophia, all the bar staff, kitchen staff and additional staff I never got to talk to. Your hard work was noticed by all of us!

We look forward to making Vin Room a family tradition for many years to come.

“Largest selection of wines by the bottle/glass in Calgary. Food improves everytime we go there. Best live jazz on thursdays in Calgary without cover charge. Kids are welcome. Lots of free parking.“

Had a birthday party asked them to split the bill between the guests, lied and said they would but rather put the entire bill on one with a 20% gratuity. The ravioli is disgusting and the manager, Brye needs better management skill. Better places to wine and dine.“

“This place is amazing. We first had aperitivo, then pasta and finally dessert. Everything was simply amazing. Aperitivo we had arancini and meatballs with Aperol Spritz, great price on the happy hour menu and wow that tomato sauce was amazing!! The pasta fileja was so delicious, we ordered one boscaiola and one with nduja, both excellent!!! Dessert - tiramisu and bombolone gelato, paired with the suggested cocktails, another success! The whole experience was so good that I can’t wait to be back and try something else. Also the servers were amazing and Biagio very friendly! Perfect date!! Grazie! 🙏“

“Excellent gluten free options (Celiac friendly)!
Went with celiac and the majority of their menu was gluten free or could be made gluten free, including the hollandaise sauce.
We ordered the Tostadas (picture) and Mexicali Hash Bowl (both GF, no subs needed) and they were delicious!! Food portions were hearty and definitely had a good mix of comfort food and well thought out flavours! The chai lattes were tasty.“

“Incredible little hamburger joint. Re-imagined classics served in a cozy 70's era restaurant; think paneled wood walls, kitschy decorations, and lots of orange.
I like to order the Donald McRonald and the coney fries. They also have a really interesting drink menu and 2 flavors of ice cream.

“This is probably the best pizza in the Renfrew / Bridgeland area.
Great service and great food, and a recently renovated dinning room. I love the pizza crust, and plentiful toppings. The quality of food and service has been consistent and delicious each time we go. Pizza arrives piping hot, every time. Gotta love that!! They have been offering a half price for pizza on eat-in dining for the last several months. Such a great deal. If you haven't been you should go. I'd say reservations are recommend, especially during the Xmas season.“

“This is the second time we have been here and It is incredible. We had the privilege of having Andy as our server and he was nothing short of amazing. Both times we have been here, the customer service has been top notch. I am also grateful that Natasha stopped by our table to say hi. “What an incredible experience! We decided to go to UNA Pizza on 17th Ave for dinner, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. Even though we didn’t have a reservation on a busy Friday night, the friendly staff accommodated us at the bar, where we got to soak in the lively atmosphere. The food exceeded our expectations—delicious, fresh, and perfectly executed.

To top it all off, we discovered a hidden gem tucked away at the back of the restaurant—Frenchie Wine Bar, a speakeasy-style spot that felt like a secret escape. The intimate ambiance, carefully curated selection of wine and cocktails, and cozy vibe made the evening even more special.

“Our service tonight from Amicko (sorry I probably spelt it wrong) was too notch. She made some great food and wine pairing suggestions. The food was delicious and the restaurant was in a quaint old house which was renovated into a 2 storey restaurant. We had one of the last seatings of the night, so by the time we left, we almost had the second floor dining room to ourselves. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Calgary.“

“We have been driving past this place for months and finally decided to give it a go. Starbelly did nothing but impress from the very beginning. The layout of the room is something you just don't get in restaurants much anymore: huge, open-kitchen style with lots of action. Starbelly has one of the more underrated cocktail menu's in Calgary as well, the bartenders there were noticeably experienced and the menu is top-to-bottom knockouts for food and beverage alike.“
