They even have deliberately placed food items on the menu that are tailored to your travel experience. Don’t have time to sit? Stop here….your meal awaits for you to take with you! “We came to Vin Room Mission for happy hour on a Monday evening to celebrate our boss’s birthday who also happens to be a sommelier and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.
From the very beginning, Amanda, our server, went above and beyond to make the night special.
Even before our reservation, she reached out personally to understand how we envisioned the evening, which was such a thoughtful touch.
When we arrived, we were warmly greeted, and to our surprise, Amanda had a beautifully arranged charcuterie board ready at our table to kick off the celebration. It was such a lovely and unexpected way to start the evening.
Throughout the night, we explored several wines from their impressive selection, and every recommendation hit the mark.
The wine menu is clearly curated with care, offering a wide variety of options for every palate.
The atmosphere was cozy, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed celebration. The food was fantastic.
The duck wings were a standout and a first for many of us, and they did not disappoint!
All in all, it was an incredible experience thanks to Amanda’s attention to detail, the warm ambiance, and the amazing food and wine.
We’ll definitely be back and recommending Vin Room Mission to friends and colleagues!“

Had a birthday party asked them to split the bill between the guests, lied and said they would but rather put the entire bill on one with a 20% gratuity. The ravioli is disgusting and the manager, Brye needs better management skill. Better places to wine and dine.“

“The food was delicious! It was my first time going and I would definitely go back. It's not a very big restaurant but they do have a patio that we ate out on. I had the California Classic hamburger and shared an order of the fries. Both the regular fries and the coney fries are good and perfect size for sharing. I also appreciated the wet wipe they serve with their burgers.“

“This place is amazing. We first had aperitivo, then pasta and finally dessert. Everything was simply amazing. Aperitivo we had arancini and meatballs with Aperol Spritz, great price on the happy hour menu and wow that tomato sauce was amazing!! The pasta fileja was so delicious, we ordered one boscaiola and one with nduja, both excellent!!! Dessert - tiramisu and bombolone gelato, paired with the suggested cocktails, another success! “Dairy Lane is an elevated cafe that does not disappoint on flavour and hospitality.

We quickly were led to a table inside, where after a short perusal of the breakfast menu we ordered.

I had the Mushroom Benny, with a side of chicken sausage. As you can see from the photo is was very well presented, and it also tasted great. The only difficulty I had was the knife I was given would not cut the English Muffin the Benny was severed on (I don't know if it was the knife or the Muffin, but the knife made quick work of the sausage so I'm leaning towards the Muffin) so it was way messier to eat than it had to be.

“I was so happy my friend Caitlin reccomended this bar. This was my first time here and Carter and Mia were so amazing and funny and welcomimg!! I love the menu and attention to detail (probably one of the most intentionally funny and random menus ive ever had the pleasure of chortling several times to* (*see photo update). Easily one of the best bars ive been to in Canada alongside some seasoned favourites back in Vancouver, but this place is a gem!!! 💎💎💎💎💎💎💎 i really enjoyed my Oolong Peach Long Island (delicious... The server explained the wines by glass to us and gave us a few options. Because we got there late, the kitchen was closed but they had desserts available. It was pay what you want for the coffee day. I cannot rave more about this place. The staff are always cheerful and welcoming. The owner, Andy is so supportive of myself and other local Musicians. There is an amazing Jazz Jam here on Sundays from approximately 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. (Don’t quote me on the time though.) This place is awesome!“

But what truly made our experience stand out was our waiter, Brendan. Brendan was knowledgeable, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. The space has a relaxed vibe, attracting many people working on laptops, making it a great spot for productivity. Prices are slightly above average, but the quality justifies it. One thing to note is that the café allows dogs inside—a nice touch for pet owners but unexpected for those with allergies, like my partner. Drove hrs to try this place after reading so many good things on a Calgary Food Group. Was greeted and served by Greg!!! Oysters were tender and perfect...just what I needed. I will definitely be back!!!

The food was decent, though we've noticed the overall quality has dipped a bit since last summer. The pasta was a bit saltier than needed, and the dates with prosciutto were dry and chewy. Still, it's a lively spot with a good atmosphere and consistently great service.“

“We've always had great food here! This time we were disappointed with one dish - the short rib with risotto. It was very bland which is unusual for Starbelly. The short rib was fall off the bone and tender but lacked flavour. The risotto looked amazing and had the right consistency/texture but was very bland. Hopefully just a one off for this entree. On the other hand the cajun chicken entree was delicious - perhaps a new favourite!“
