“This little gem of a restaurant along “D” Gates is quite simply amazing! My server was super helpful in selecting a wine for me and my food, deli-shish! They even have deliberately placed food items on the menu that are tailored to your travel experience. Don’t have time to sit? Stop here….your meal awaits for you to take with you! “We went to Vin Room in Mission for their happy hour and to sit on their deck in the Summer sun. Unfortunately, the rain kept us inside. However, it didn't impact our overall experience. Their happy hour is a great deal. Our server, Jason, was amazing: knowledgeable about the food and wine, attentive without being annoying, and friendly. They have a large selection of cocktails and wines by the glass. I liked the option to make up a flight of wine by combining my choice of 2 oz glasses of a variety of whites, roses, reds and bubbly.“

“The worst dining and service I have ever had. Had a birthday party asked them to split the bill between the guests, lied and said they would but rather put the entire bill on one with a 20% gratuity. The ravioli is disgusting and the manager, Brye needs better management skill. Better places to wine and dine.“

“This place is amazing. We first had aperitivo, then pasta and finally dessert. Everything was simply amazing. Aperitivo we had arancini and meatballs with Aperol Spritz, great price on the happy hour menu and wow that tomato sauce was amazing!! The pasta fileja was so delicious, we ordered one boscaiola and one with nduja, both excellent!!! Dessert - tiramisu and bombolone gelato, paired with the suggested cocktails, another success! The whole experience was so good that I can’t wait to be back and try something else. Also the servers were amazing and Biagio very friendly! Perfect date!! Grazie! 🙏“

“The food was delicious! It was my first time going and I would definitely go back. It's not a very big restaurant but they do have a patio that we ate out on. I had the California Classic hamburger and shared an order of the fries. Both the regular fries and the coney fries are good and perfect size for sharing. I also appreciated the wet wipe they serve with their burgers.“

“Great atmosphere and great service. We stumbled at this wine bar looking for another place, but glad we went inside. Small cozy spot that nice and quiet to end the night with a glass of wine. The server explained the wines by glass to us and gave us a few options. Because we got there late, the kitchen was closed but they had desserts available. We got the chocolate fondant (lava cake) and it was delicious.“

“The Business district Calgary Vintage Chophouse is truly an astonishing place to dine. I had the enjoyment of attending a company celebration, and we received their exclusive private room for a full night. With more than 20 seats my business cohort and myself had a great time. (Their award winning Vegetable Quiche is my second favourite dish). I paired the pie with their delicious Sweet Potato soup and had Gravity’s Coffee flavour “Insomnia”. It was pay what you want for the coffee day. I cannot rave more about this place. The staff are always cheerful and welcoming. The owner, Andy is so supportive of myself and other local Musicians. There is an amazing Jazz Jam here on Sundays from approximately 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. (Don’t quote me on the time though.) This place is awesome!“

But what truly made our experience stand out was our waiter, Brendan. Brendan was knowledgeable, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. “The restaurant's interior is very charming. I’m usually not a fan of oysters, but the small oysters (possibly raspberry?) were surprisingly delicious; they tasted almost like clams and didn’t have a fishy flavour. I would definitely order them again.

The pasta and gnocchi were excellent. If you enjoy shrimp and salmon, you will love the lunch pasta and gnocchi menus, which are also reasonably priced.

The waiter was very nice. Even though we were seated on the patio, he consistently kept my coffee and water glass filled.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I will definitely go back for dinner sometime!“

“I dine three or four times a year at Murrieta's, and each visit is more enjoyable than the previous one. I arrived ahead of time, and was warmly greeted; my coat was taken and I was seated in the great space that is the main dining area. Perhaps because I am something of a regular, the staff presented me with a little note. My friend arrived and we had a great meal: she had salad and gnocchi, I had calamari and a New York striploin. The only possible "complaint" we could muster about the food was that the salad was quite huge. Service was extremely attentive without being overbearing. Upon arriving I mentioned that we needed to leave at a certain time, and the staff made sure we had regular reports on the time. Service of the food and drinks was really good. What can I say other than this was a top-rate meal, and I look forward to my next visit to Murrieta's.“

“We went for our anniversary and took advantage of their Tuesday menu for two. It did not disappoint. Everything was delicious, the ladies at the door were friendly and sat us right away. We had a very nice server and had a friendly smile, and gave us prosecco to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The noise level was moderate and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommended“
