“The Metal Kettle is a great little lunch spot. The prices are very reasonable and the food reminds you of your grandmother’s home cooking. The staff are also very friendly. The coffee wasn’t the greatest, but that was my only real complaint. I look forward to returning.

“We have been eating at this establishment for several years; always has been our “go to” when in Camrose. When the hotel changed ownership we were concerned the food quality at the restaurant might suffer.
Well in my opinion the food quality is better than what was offered previously. Today we decided to have the buffet. Chicken tenders, meatballs, mashed potatoes, veggies and tapioca pudding. For starters, the chicken tenders appeared to be a bit dry. What a surprise to have a nicely seasoned crispy outside and tender and juicy inside.
; with choice of gravy or plum sauce. Meatballs must have been finely ground sirloin. Again tender soft; no chewy bits, perfectly seasoned and delicious. Mashed potatoes were comment worthy along with the vegetables. Warm tapioca pudding to top things off. Also not to forget the salad/soup bar. I usually have a bowl of soup for desert as soup choices are the best soup around. The salads are all different with unique flavors. The soup/ salad bar at $15.95 is good price for the quality of the product. Add another $3 and you have a complete meal.
This is a great price for a quality meal served by very capable and friendly wait staff. Keep up the good work.“

“Wasn't sure what to expect, but it's a cozy little place downtown with excellent service and a decent beer selection. Ended up trying the BBQ sampler, was not disappointed. Steak was actually fairly rare, which seems rare these days lol. The ribs were fall off the bone and sauced well. Poutine wasn't bad, just needed some salt. All in all, would certainly visit again.“
