“Sharing this late, as we were there in May, but the experience has stuck with me. We came in on a Saturday night as a group. The space felt cozy and it was very inviting. I started with the Carrot Cake cocktail-OH.MY.GOD, it was so delicious. I still think about that drink. Perfectly sweet and bursting with flavour, it was a perfect cocktail and I almost ordered another for dessert. For appetizers we ordered the Pine Flour Brioche, Foie Gras & Elk Shortrib Croquette, Bison Tartare & Wild Boar Belly. Every single dish was a delight-the plating was gorgeous and the food was incredible. All stand outs, but the brioche was the star (I'm forever a bread girl). For mains we ordered the Duck Breast, Pan Seared Trout, Baby Carrots & Frites. The Duck was so tender and juicy (and you could eat the mini pine cones-surprisingly delicious!) and the trout was probably one of the best I've ever had. Of course, the fries were incredible (that sauce!!!) and the carrots a perfect balance. We were full, but shared the Bergamot Curd and it was a perfect end to the meal. Sauvage is an experience from start to finish-not only does the food look like art, it was absolutely incredible tasting. The staff were also wonderful and made great suggestions. Thank you chef Tracy for an amazing culinary experience!“
