“This is hands down my favourite neighbourhood pub. From the moment you walk in, Krista, Sean, and the entire staff make you feel right at home. They are always attentive, kind, and genuinely make you feel valued as a customer, something you do not find everywhere.

The food here is excellent across the board. Their happy hour specials are a steal, and the food specials are always worth coming back for. With two wing nights each week, you cannot go wrong. The wings are always perfectly done and priced right. Honestly, everything on the menu is solid, and it is clear they put effort into consistency and quality. They even have their own local beer, 2515, brewed just for them, which is a must try if you are a beer fan.

The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a neighbourhood pub, warm, welcoming, and lively. Saturday nights with live bands are always a highlight, and if you are into sports, the large TV screens make it a fantastic spot to catch a football game with friends.

“This little hidden gem is exactly that! A little hidden gem! At least to us. We usually will pop in here and there for an afternoon brew and appy and every single time we have been satisfied. The drink specials are great. The food is always amazing and the service is ALWAYS great. Especially love going when Brandy is working during the day however we have been served by the ladies working the evening shift they have always been so friendly and quick. Even when it’s busy these guys got it down to ensure you have a great day/night out. I have never been disappointed coming here for an afternoon and we have been going for 5 years. It’s our go to!!! The Bacon Bison burger is a superstar—juicy and delicious. Just be sure to give your fries a little shake to help with the seasoning; a heavy hand with the salt is the only flaw in an otherwise perfect meal. “Blackbird is the local bar that every new place is trying to be. Especially with recycled crap like Banquet across the street it's really easy to spot the differences. We were lucky enough to meet the GM of Blackbird our first time dropping by and it's safe to say we are customers for life. The current menu is pub-grub done well, extremely well. The Chef definitely knows what he/she is doing back there and I always look forward to the seasonal menu change. We frequent this place for everything: brunch, lunch, dinner, games, drinks - whatever, doesn't matter. Always a great time.“

“Wow! It is much larger than it looks. The food was incredible. It was a large portion, the steak literally melted in my mouth. Prices were very good as well. I would be back over and over. I have to try a clubhouse next, one walked by and it looked incredible. The service was great, the crowd very friendly. you should try it out!! I was very impressed. The location is great and so easy to get to. there also seems to be something going on there every weekend too. Comedy,/open mic, a karaoke thing and a bingo drag show. sounds like fun.“

“Tavern 52 is what some may refer to as a dive bar, or maybe a biker bar(ish). Older crowd mainly 40+. Personally I like those types of bars. A refreshing change from the sterile franchises like Earls, Moxies, OJ’s and the likes I will be going back. Cheap beers and wings on “

“Great hole in the wall bar and grill on 17th Ave SE. The staff were very nice, atmosphere was enjoyable. The music wasn't to loud so you could have a conversation without screaming. The food was great. Got the 5 Apps for $38 plus a large chicken caesar salad and a burger with fries and gravy. The gravy reminded me of the very yummy high school gravy, which I was very pleased to find out. ? ? ? ? ? ? onion rings, potato skins, deep fried pickles, and the steak bites were all so good.
Had ro take a couple of boxes homeof leftovers but so glad we did. The burger was even better then next day for dinner. First burger I've ever had that you could eat the day after. ????
Will definitely go there again very soon, and always remember to bring cash, it's the best currency since we have to have one.
