Huge toast to Abbey's Creations in Cochrane! Apparently the Calgary locations are owned by the same people as well. I walked in with my parents tonight for ice cream and they wanted milkshakes. The owner was serving us and he said they had no milk. After seeing the disappointment on my dad's face, he said he could run across the street and buy milk. It was so busy in the store but he went and bought milk and made the two milkshakes! Talk about great customer service!
New favourite ice cream shop! We visited all the way from Canmore for this and it was so worth it! The international flavours they have are nothing like I’ve ever seen, and they are so delicious! They also offer various plant based flavours too! They even offer unlimited toppings and mix them in stone cold style so they’re in every bite. Our first trip was not the best. Both employees were courteous, fast and friendly - the best part of our visit. The flavors definitely focused on exotic flavours, with one vanilla, and one salted caramel as the only non-exotic flavours available. The rest, (Hola Hola, Avocado, Ube, Durian, Mango, Grapenut, etc) were a tough sell for our kids. It would be helpful to have an idea of this prior to visiting. Coupled with the fact it was $6.99 for a single scoop felt outrageous....read full review
