We loved our time living in Korea. But the thing we missed the most was the food. It's hard to find authentic and high quality Korean food in Edmonton at a reasonable place. I tried this restaurant for the first time today and had the dolsot bi-bin-bop and it was phenomenal. Great food, staff and prices are decent. I'll be back.
This is one of the longest standing Korean eateries in the city having been in the same location for over 30 years. Unfortunately they no longer serve top quality Japanese food anymore. Their Korean dishes are still quite tasty but lean towards the expensive end. Service is friendly but a bit on the inadequate side due to shortage of staff. I am a little disappointed with the way they charge for many of their menu items as "market priced" which should normally only apply to food...read full review

We came here not sure what to expect because it looks like a hole in the wall, but to be fair those are usually the best places. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were generous. The staff was friendly too. Would definitely come back.
