“I've been coming here for years to this wonderful, old style lounge that is comfortable, warm, quiet and totally mellow....Comfortable seating, friendly, efficient staff serving excellent food and drink selections - ambiance is second to none in this city, period.Friday and Saturday nights they have a piano player - excellent music that most everybody remembers and enjoys - never too loud, but fills the background beautifully - they gladly take requests, and have an amazing knowledge of songs.Greatest place in the city - I would say go and enjoy it, but deep down I want y'all to stay away because it's just too enjoyable as my own paradise. ?“
“Wonderful appetizers of a cheese plate and warm salad. Really enjoyed the mussels which had a delicious broth. The frites were too salty for my liking and I would have loved a few more slices of baguette which was perfect for the broth from the great mussels. Had a great grapefruit mocktail. Husband’s wine was good too. Patio was romantic and lovely but I had frozen toes by meals end. We were too full for dessert but would love to try the lemon tart or crème brûlée… so we know we’ll go back!“
“My wife's co-worker lives in Edmonton and recommended Partake. I came on a Sunday around 545pm. Really really nice overall experience. The service team gave great insight on the menu, they also shared that it was "Sunday Sips 'N Snacks" which meant featured cocktails and some food specials. Lucky me! Part of me wishes I had asked for the name of the server working behind the bar to give credit where credit is due but on the other hand, if I gave an individual shout out it could over shadow an completely awesome job by this entire team. I'll definitely be back here. All dishes I had tonight were really nice. My personal ranking would be;1. Devilled Egg2. Schnitzel Stack3. Sausage4. Potato“

“Attended a staff luncheon. Everyone enjoyed their lunches. I ordered a burger vegetalien. The falafel patty was cooked perfectly, moist and flavorful. Service was attentive and friendly. Upgraded from fries to kale salad for $3.50. a bit steep but healthier.“
“This was a fantastic place to stop, and surprisingly affordable for how delicious & fancy the meals felt.I had the Flank Steak, lavender spritz, and the lemon tart for dessert during the lunch service. The staff were very friendly, the food was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was quiet. The place seemed to be filled with business folk gathering for lunch meetings or old friends dressing nicely for a much needed catch-up.The steak was a tender medium rare, the arugula salad was refreshing, and the frites were perfectly crispy. I couldn't help but nearly inhale the meal with how delicious it was. The lavender spritz was so good, I got two of them and asked for the recipe. It's a simple drink, but doesn't overshadow your food due to it's simplicity. I finished the meal with the lemon tart and really took my time to enjoy it with a cup of tea. The cream they serve it with cuts the sharp lemony flavour perfectly.Kid-friendliness: This isn't the kind of place you take your kids to. This place has a mature atmosphere.“
