Kobe is our favourite Japanese restaurant in the West End of Edmonton. It is a family run business and we have been going there for many, many years. Love the way they prepare their sashimi, sushi, rolls (avocado rolls!), and udons. Love the Japanese hospitality too!!!
We used to love going to Kobe whenever we were in West Edmonton. Menu has changed since we been there. Things we wanted were not availavle at the time. It seems the owner is changed. I don't know. It is not Authentic Japanese restaurant I used to love anymore.
First time back here after a few years now. Wasn’t the same for sure. Food was good but price was on the heavy side. Service was ok, the server couldn’t be bothered to say you’re welcome or thank you and the atmosphere wasn’t very comfy where you felt at home kind of thing. Don’t know if I’ll be back again unless I’m really craving the Volcano Roll.
