About La Pagode

La Pagode is a highly-recommended restaurant that serves generous portions of delicious food at an affordable price. The restaurant is known for its huge servings, with dishes like the 25 regular and large pho, overflowing vermicelli bowls, and the popular ginger crispy tofu and green onion cakes. The service is superb, with friendly staff who know regular orders and offer complimentary tea when asked. The restaurant is extremely clean, including the bathrooms, and the owners are hardworking and deserving of praise. With a bill that's always under $50, including tax and a 20% tip, La Pagode is a great value for a dinner out.

The menu has a large variety of options, including a huge vegetarian section at the back with many vegan choices. Dishes like the ginger beef and lemongrass tofu are flavorful and well-made, while classics like Bun Bo Hue and Fookinese noodle soup are served in good portions. The food is excellent for the price, with large enough servings for leftovers. While there is cross-contamination in the kitchen, animal products are not in the final vegan dishes. The restaurant is a great choice for families, with a welcoming atmosphere and small gestures like lollipops for kids. It’s a perfect spot after a long day or for a casual date.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small step at the entrance but the rest of the floor plan is on a single level.

Still one of the best sate phos in the city. Love this place!
I initially had a lower star rating due to their choice in rice. However they have since switched their rice and now it tastes and feels much better. Their food is excellent for a good price. The portion sizes are large enough to take home leftovers. Their vegan options are plentiful, do note that there is cross contamination in the kitchen, however animal products are not in the final dish. There is a vegetarian section at the end of the menu, of which most can be made vegan....read full review
Best pho in the city! Have tried a few other places and always end up disappointed, but never here. My girlfriend and I always get a 25 regular and a 25 large, and share a side of spring rolls - the bill is always under $50 (including tax and a 20% tip). VERY generous portions, never skimpy on the beef or toppings. Where else could you get a dinner out with such good service for such an affordable price? The restaurant is extremely clean (including the bathrooms), the service...read full review
