“Phanang curry (with chicken) with coconut rice. I swear I could eat this for breakfast, lunch, and supper every day and never get tired of it. It is sooooooo good. The portions are large enough that I can usually stretch one order into a few meals of leftovers. I've tried making my own Phanang curry many times and it's pretty good but not nearly as good as Syphay's. I might try to persuade them to let me volunteer in their kitchen just so I can learn how they make it.“
“Ive been frequenting this restaurant for 17yrs. Family run business and they have stayed one of my favourite restaurants in the city! Always an amazing meal and fantastic service. Gaeng kiew wan (green curry) is my favourite and super authentic.“
“After having been to three Thai restaurants in Edmonton, I must say this one’s the best! We ordered Tom Yum, Pad Thai, Seafood Phuket, and Gang-Keauy and it’s perfect for three people. I couldn’t stop saying yum after every mouthful ? It’s that good. I like how the dishes came with just enough meat in them. It was such a satisfying meal, and the service is great. We’ll definitely come back another time with our other expired groupon. We asked and they said they’ll accept the expired ones. Aren’t they so kind??? ?“
“Absolutely delicious. My partner and I went for the Chinatown Dining Week special and completely loved the thom yum soup, coconut soup, green curry, and coconut rice -- 10/10 for those dishes. The orange cashew chicken had many fresh vegetables and was good, but was milder and less interesting in flavour than the green curry (which was on the sweeter side, but so beautifully balanced). The spring rolls are small and have a filling of cabbage mostly, so they weren't something we would personally order again. But, everything else blew my mind away. Having been to Southern Thailand before, this was personally my favorite iteration of thum yum. I cannot wait to order it again from Noi Thai. The coconut soup was mild, with fragrant but light notes of lemongrass. It was very refreshing and something we are already craving.10/10 recommend checking out this place for the aforementioned dishes and the lovely older gentleman who seems to run the show himself and offers good service and grub. :)P.S. For what we got for the Chinatown Dining Week special, we were shocked at how much food we got!“
